Quick!
Is Garcon a really good #2 WR or ok #1? Why?
Hes an awesome number one. Edit: why? Because we win when he plays. Imo that is the definition of a difference maker. If he was healthy all year or as Matty points out fully healthy, he is a sure fire pro bowler. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode
all I know is we need ATL and Green bay to win like nobody's business next week.

Of course that goes without saying. I am hoping we get to take out the Cowboys on the last game of the season. |
I can see Chicago losing 2 out of the next three which would put them at 9-7. So, it's possible that two teams from the NFCE gets in @ 9-7. @10-6 I think we definitely get in but I'm not so sure that we will run off three more.
The tie for STL may come back to haunt them which is good for us. the Rams game with Seattle in week 17 could decide whether we get in or not. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode
yea Seattle has a cake schedule. I do not want us having to travel out there to play if we get to the playoffs
|

We really need Pitt to beat Dallas next week and Denver to beat Baltimore. I want Baltimore to have every reason to play hard against the Giants in week 16. I basically have no faith in the Falcons to beat the Giants next week. |
Atlanta will be ready because they were dumped on by ny last year
|
Btw with PG we are 6-1 that really does show some meaning behind that
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode
Anyone see the SF Kaepernick play? Ran 50 yards for TD on our option read play. When it works, copy it.

They do have a game against SF left and their remaining schedule has a higher winning percentage than ours. |

Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode
Seattle still has Buffalo 5-8, San Fran 9-3-1, and the Rams 6-6-1.
Not seeing a lot of cake there. |
I think Seattle will finish 9-7 losing at Buffalo and to SF
|

Man oh man...the Bears...Wow if they don't make the playoffs

Not seeing a lot of cake there.
Well, Buffalo isn't playing very good, but it will be outdoors and an away game. Before the Bears game, I thought they would lose both to Buffalo and San Fran. Now, well they just are on one of those momentum rides that seems to be heading the right way. Right now, it's just as likely that the Bears will lose next week to the Packers, and possibly to Detroit in the last week of the season. |

Yeah their ship has holes in it. I think they are the oldest team in the NFL maybe age it taking its toll. I havnt watched them play since the San Fran game. |

Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode
tell me again how the Bengals lost when the Cowboys defense's whole mid-section is basically out of action? I expected a heavy dose of Richardson all day. Was he hurt?

The Bengals let the Cowboys hang around that game and scored FGs when they should've been scoring TDs (including an easy pass to AJ Green who dropped it, denying me of wins on FF team!!! :cussing: ) And you're getting your Ohio teams mixed up. Richardson plays for the Brownies. |

So apparently in Baltimore when you lose two games in a row they start firing coaches.

Cam Cameron's kind of been on the hot seat for a while. I would have waited until the season ended to fire him though

There has been a lot of criticism of Cam Cameron for a while, especially not getting Ray Rice involved in the offense more. |

Hard to keep him involved when it seemed like he was off the field 70% of the time yesterday. |

Sorta just strikes me that the problem with that team isn't on offense really. That's always been a team that succeeded because the defense made it easy on the offense. Now that they don't have anything near a dominant defense everyone gets mad about the O. |

Well they've had troubles offensively with teams like KC and San Diego. Although yesterday the offense wasn't the problem IMO. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode
Joe Gibbs I was great. Joe Gibbs II was horrible. He traded Champ Bailey PLUS a 2nd rounder draft choice to Denver for Clinton Portis, who ran his mouth more than anybody I know. He traded a 3rd rounder for a QB that was going to be released, and then he traded two high picks to SF for a receiver who failed big time for the Redskins. All those picks could have been used to draft O-linemen, which we sorely needed.

Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode
CP was def not a mistake. Champ wanted alot of money and we probably lost the value on the trade, CP was a factor in getting ST and CP carried us to almost all our wins in the Gibbs 2.0 era
