Yeah u have to give big props to Jim and the job they've done. Our defense is actually pretty hot right now just like our offense. Honestly the redskins are a dangerous team unlike our prior two playoff losses. I mean who was actually scared of brunell or Collins leading an offense?

I honestly think that was him trying to get it to game speed....he looked ok on that touchdown |

D-Hall Rob Jackson Almo Haz O-line again opening the holes Paulsen for that awesome catch 12th man
Cant leave out RGIII man, he didnt make rookie mistakes that are often made in games like this and took what was giving to him instead of trying to force things and commit turnovers.. just for that I say he gets one too.. |

Im just trying to spread the love. Lol. To be honest he looked real shaky early and he did come very close to throwing a couple of "rookie mistakes". The one in particular where he was scrambling to his right and threw the ball away but it was very close to being a pick. His passes didnt look that crisp or concise tonite. He certainly has earned the rite to look a little off dont get me wrong. Hes a rookie after all. Tonite their were just other players who stepped it up more imo, and thank God because teams win championships not individuals. |

He will be 4 weeks post injury next week. 3-4 weeks was expressed as the typical recovery time. So, I guess we will find out if the 10% sprain we were informed of is accurate. |
We can't have RGIII play like he did tonight. His injury is definitely affecting his ability. It shows.
He looked much better than he did last week. Yes, he's still stiff or something, it seems, but he didn't look half as stiff as he did against the Iggles.
I honestly think that was him trying to get it to game speed....he looked ok on that touchdown
Yeah, agreed. Looked much better than he did against the Iggles on his two runs in that game.
I think he's trying to iron out the kinks and get that knee warmed back up, too. Should be even better next week IMO. |
Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
Brian Mitchell made a good point on Comcast about RGIII's mobility. He's under the impression that the knee brace, and how tight they have it wrapped, might be inhibiting Robert right now. He cautioned people to cool it and thinks the team is just being overly cautious of the knee. Also said we won't know until he takes the brace off.
We'll see. |
Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
Skins won all 3 2nd NFCE meetings, and in all 3 Griff didn't do as well as in the first. While there are a ton of points of views on what it means, but to me, it means that we are not just an RG3 team, but that when opposing d's defend him, it opens up other ways to beat them, and Griffin isn't so selfish as to feel he has to be the reason for the win.
The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades! |

Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
I voted for Morris, I mean how can you not. That said, DHall did an excellent job on Bryant till he left, Fletcher and Riley jointly led this team's defense to a different plane last night, and ultimately the whole team just played with a passion that was amazing. So many players and coaches that all deserve a nod. In fact the only goat of the game would be um, well, Goat.

I still don't know how they did it these past seven weeks, because there was a lot of stress and confusion within the coaching staff not even two months ago. Incredible turnaround |

Incredible turnaround
I guess this means that Haslett has secured his job for another year. |

Don't think that's guaranteed, the tension was more so on the offensive side anyway...but today's not the day to worry about any of that |

I lean toward Hall because he did what no one's been able to do the past month-shut Dez down. But Morris was outstanding; Fletcher and Cofield continue to play very strong down the stretch and lead the defense. Rocca had some nice punts. Garcon and Paul with some huge blocks. LeRibeus stepped up in his debut and did admirably on such a big stage. Kyle Shanahan devised an incredible game plan that completely neutralized the Cowboys best defenders. Total team effort. Anyone who thinks this team is only about RG3 has no clue. |

Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
Everyone's praising Hall, how about the job Josh Wilson? He had his best game and was all over the field making plays.

Wilson, Hall, Doughty, Jackson, Fletch

Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
Kudos to Jerry Jones for the compliment, i think Mara has taken over as the most despised rival owner.

It's ok to praise Hall man. No one will think less of you |
Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
I forgot who said it but apparently all the injuries helped Haslets defense. Tons of players got experience and because they were rotating players so much they were always fresh and better prepared for the 4th quarter. What started as desperation became an advantage

I'll give him credit, let's just see if he stays consistent and keeps playing like this or reverts to his gambling ways like last week. |

Deangelo Hall..... you made me a believer last night. "Oh Dez Bryant is on a roll", Tony Romo has been on fire lately!" That's all I have heard! I was so sick of ESPN and all these media types, then after the game and some post game interviews on NBC I switched to NFL Network and there sat Deion and Michael Irving in shock! LOVING IT!!!

Atlanta wont be a factor in the playoffs. Whoever wins the Skins/Seattle game will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. |

Still want to puke thinking about Collingsworth's slobbering over Romo last night. Just wanted to reach through the screen and bitch slap him.
