LOL. keep dreaming. With the already released the Giants are about 4 million right now "under the cap" .Jerry Reese knows what he's doing and Eli would definitly rework his deal to keep Cruz. haters gotta hate.
If he knew what he was doing, you would not have dropped 3 of the last 4 to us. Face it, your team is on a decline.
Giants actually seem to be a little bit better spot then a few other nfc east teams.
Suck it, Mara. You sabotaged two teams in your division and still lost half of your division games. The Eagles even beat you! |

He is the GM not the coach,as we were the defending super bowl champion at the time....I think decline is a litttle hopeful on your part. Suck it, Mara. You sabotaged two teams in your division and still lost half of your division games. The Eagles even beat you!
....and finished 9-7 ,just like the year before, wellllllll not exactly like the year before. |
Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
He doesn’t intend to start a massive overhaul, but he will need to add a few new pieces. And the GM might have to say goodbye to some familiar old faces with the Giants projected to be $4.7 million over the cap in 2013 according to John Clayton’s cap numbers. Clayton says the Giants will carry over $1 million.
By dumping the 3 that already have been release and Osi contract has been voided so he is an unrestricted FA.Giants resigned Rogers and Pascoe from what I read with the transactions that they have pulled off are about 2 mill under the cap so more names will have to go. |
USA has a great show called "NFL characters unite " good stuff

Let them build their team like madden with free agents like their corners, babin, Vick and others. They will be Winners in march losers in December. Like the skins of old. |
Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
I'm actually glad that we don't have a ton of cap space. Having a lot of cap space seems to never turn into more wins. Yet when we didn't have a lot of cap space we finally won the division and got a home playoff game. Chemistry wins in the NFL, not high priced free agents. I hope that we nail the draft, and add a few players in free agency, get back some iof the njured guys and make another run.

Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
I heard on the radio today that Percy Harvin is on the trading block. He would fill a need on special teams and could play in the slot. What do people think about making a move for Harvin? I say no way!

Where in the hell did you get that? Philadelphia Eagles Salary Cap -- Current Year Cap Values Right now, they are over the cap and with the 23 million carry over, they are sitting at around 15 mill under the cap. |

He should beat out Foles no problem. Actually, I'm not sure why Philly would even want Foles to run Kelly's offense. I see them trying to move Foles to KC. |

Are the new Eagles the old Redskins? |
Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
The Redskins luckily don't have to upgrade many positions....we just need a safety and a right tackle....we may not have to draft a corner because we have Minnifield.

They seem to be following the early 2000 Redskins blueprints. Not sure how that will work out for them. |

That's easy for you to say sitting on the outside. While I agree w/ you about Young, there are many others, including Joe Gibbs and Mark Brunell, who had serious issues with managing their money. |

Two words answer your question: Bud Adams. |
Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
I think Vince Young is just a very immature guy who never grew up. You see pics of him online in some club w/ his shirt off, he's getting into fights at strip clubs and what not. Could you ever imagine RG3 doing that kind of crap? He made 29 mil, taxes probbaly took about 12 mil, agent probably took almost a million, so that leave him w/ 16 mil or so? He probably had a few homes, a lot of cars, a 5k a week Chesscake Factory bill, buying all the seats on a plane, 300k parties.... that 16 mil can go real fast with that type of lifestyle.

Gotta hunch Brunell and Gibbs didnt lose their money throwing parties for themselves. I think i read where Gibbs lost some of his money in tennis courts and apartment complexes. But Im not sure on that. |

It is if you've had everything taken care of for you since high school if you are a big up and coming football player. These guys have the common sense of a door knob when it comes to anything real world related. |

It's very easy to say for me because I'm not a idiot. Gibbs and Brunell didn't have problems managing their money, they simply invested poorly. Brunell caught the brunt of the real estate collapse, and Gibbs wanted money for nothing. You can't give somebody cash, have no involvement, and expect good things to come out of it. Brunell was definitely dumb with his investments though. He got greedy and put way too many eggs in one basket. |

Well putting money in questionable real estate is probably not a good way to manage money. I'm not comparing Young's situation to Gibbs or Brunell. Young spent lavishly on stupid crap, he deserves to be broke. But I'm sure if a lot of us were in his situation at 21 years old we'd all probably make some mistakes with that amount of money. That's all I'm saying. Now, would I have a 5k a week Cheesecake Factory bill? Or charter a plane for myself cause I wanted to be alone? No way in hell. |
