Looks like Manning is going to carry me this week in FF. BOOOYAH!!!

CRedskinsRule 09-05-2013 11:31 PM

How was he so open! Crazy

CRedskinsRule 09-05-2013 11:35 PM

Also I hope they do those fake qb Facebook rants again this year. Already seeing an epic Manning Brady back and forth.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

I haven't been keeping up with the game other than the Broncos are bending over the Ravens.

Do the Ravens look as good as they did last year and the Broncos are just better?

Or do the Ravens suck more since they lost key players?

I hope Manning and Co. run up the score. I would.

Wow.

This kinda Nationally televised beating is absolutely hilarious.

They very much look like a 7-9 team I predicted them to be. Ravens only looked good the 1st half of last season and the playoffs. They almost blew their playoff chance the 2nd half of last season.

Manning is on fire though.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

Just think, the Broncos are beating the Super Bowl champs this badly without their starting Center Walton, Joel Dressen, Von Miller, and Champ Bailey.

I'm pretty excited for week 8 when we play them at most likely their full strength (baring any major injuries)

Danny Trevathan, you are an idiot.

He may beat out Mark Sanchez's butt fumble on the not top 10.

What a ****ing moron. You'd think that players would learn from other people's stupidity about letting the ball go before you cross the line.

Absolute dumb****ery of the worst kind.

On top of his bone headed early fumble, he just got his teammate Wesley Woodward (who arguably is the best bronco defender right now) injured with ray rice clipping out his legs going for the fumble.

He's lucky I'm not the head coach. Guy probably would find himself on the inactive list for a couple weeks.

JoeRedskin 09-06-2013 12:23 AM

Idiotic as it was, saved me a little bit. My FF opponent has the Denver D.

JoeRedskin 09-06-2013 12:24 AM

But yeah, that was epically stupid.

I've been loving every minute of this Peyton Manning TD fest until I realized the guy I'm playing in Fantasy Football has Manning...

RedskinRat 09-06-2013 12:36 AM

Getting a little annoyed with the 'America's Game of the Week' promo.

JoeRedskin 09-06-2013 12:40 AM

P. Manning and D. Thomas on my FF teams.

RedskinRat 09-06-2013 12:40 AM

Manning to Thomas, Touchdown....

OK, you can stop now.........

This game has turned into a video game. what seems like every year now, might see a whole bunch of passing records broken again this year.

I guess this was a big FU from Manning to all the people that had Seattle #1 in their power rankings.

agreed. brees, manning brady are amazing qbs but 50 plus tds for brady, 5k for brees? the game is changing. im just glad the skins seem to finally be game planning and playing modern nfl football and not the control the ball with 3 yard runs and a cloud of dust approach.
Exactly. They could pay me <$50,000 to not field a punt over my head while standing on the 15 and I wouldn't fumble it and cost my team a TD.

If I were the broncos, I'd fine home for being a fraud- not being a professional and making a bone head play #earnyourpaycheckandnotgivethesebalitimoronsachancetoruinmytomorrow. Just win baby.
Calm down dude. Peyton is the man. Go to bed angry, DVR the game, wake up and feel like Christmas morning. Tomorrow is going to be a great day. You can even wear your Manning jersey.

Just know week 8 is going to be a battle.

That was a hell of a statement game last night. I dont know what to think of Baltimore, but their Oline got pushed around pretty bad last night by a bronco defense without their key guys. And their secondary sux

Right when Oher got knocked out that entire OLine pretty much fell apart. Their secondary, much like the Skins secondary needs time to gel. Without a pass rush both secondaries will look awful.

Shameless self promotion. It was on NBC and they are obviously going to promote their own programming. Wouldn't matter if it was Jets vs. Raiders, they would have been shoving down our throats every commercial break.

I'll go out and say that Harbaugh got out coached. But not by Fox. Manning out coached him on the field.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

That was a amazing way to open the season last night. Such a treat watching Peyton play, and to tie history with 7 TDs was just icing on the cake.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

Ravens just got outplayed. They simply could not cover or tackle. Also have to question the Ravens throwing so many passes. Gotta give Rice and Pierce more carries.

Did anyone notice that Manning just doesn't have a lot of zip on his passes? Obviously he played a ridiculous game and was pin point accurate, but that might be a factor when the weather changes.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

denver is loaded but also Baltimore just isn't as good obviously. I'd still say Denver will end up around 13-3

donofriose 09-06-2013 09:26 AM

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

Manning is one of the greatest to ever play. Sucks that his career is probably ending within the next couple of years.

I thought the list of QBs that threw 7td's a game was interesting because there wasn't anyone that automatically stood out. I actually had to look up a couple of them because I had never heard their names.

Broncos offense this year might be one of the best offenses ever if their Oline can keep it together and provide a run game.

He never had a fantastic arm, it is all about anticipation with him and obviously reading the defense and probably being the smartest quarterback outside of Unitas to ever play.

I think the Ravens wanted to run the ball more and they did in the first half but then the Broncos broke the game wide open forcing the Ravens to pass a lot more than they felt comfortable doing.

I also never remember the Ravens getting blown out like that.

The Broncos threw across the middle like it was no big thing.

Boy, Ed Reed must be sorely missed.

I wonder how much Belichick is going to run up the score on Buffalo to try to steal the spotlight from Manning.

Patriots might lose to Buffalo, they always tend to start out slow and then win a string of regular season games in a row before losing in the championship game or Super Bowl.

What was stupid, boneheaded play you guys were talking about? I didn't watch the whole game.
