Ryan Clark signing may back fire. I see him in the media too much. He is supposed to be a leader and not be in the media, or something like that?

He started doing the ESPN stuff last year. Typical offseason stuff, I don't think it will impact things once team activities ramp up. Fletcher was doing similar things last offseason too. |

Dude if you hate players being in the media all the time, you are really going to hate the NFL in the future. Think about media access in the 80's, to where it is now. It's only going to get more invasive in the future. |

Well, he’s certainly proven all his doubters wrong. Considering the enormously positive impact he’s had on our team, I’d say we got a bargain.” “The guy’s got a motor that just never stops running,” added teammate Ryan Kerrigan. “He’s the hardest worker on our team, a notorious fitness freak, and a true perfectionist in every way. Believe me, the guys on our defense know not to ever, ever slow down or quit on any play, or else they’ll have to answer to Albert.”
|

Will, urban dictionary can help out usually.
Fair enough, I did a quick search, urban dictionary didn't come up. I didnt realize it was commonly used slang. I thought it was just a pun which would have made sense if for example someone had said: "I hear she likes gardening." To which you might respond, "Well, she is a hoe." or "She can plant her tuplips on my . . ." Anyways I stand corrected. |

I really need to not get as angry at the Cowboys because I think Manziel will actually be really good. For once I want the Cowboys to be mired in the Drew Bledsoe and Quincy Carter eras. It's all opinion at this point but IMO Manziel is Tebow Jr. - lots of hype for a couple of years but then going softly into that good night of oblivion. |

Manziel gonna have a hard time in the NFL. He played in a relatively simple offense and will have a hard time grasping the next level. Its all about who draft Johnny Cakes. |

I don't think that statement could be further from the truth. Manziel has proven he can throw the ball. I think he is going to be a stud in the nfl. I think the closes comparison to Manziel in recent years is RG3. Throws a great deep ball, good scrambler, albeit in different ways (rg3 has elite speed, manziel is creative), and all the charisma......... Yes i just compared Johnny Football to our very own. |

Manziels mechanics are better at his age than Tebows were. Manziel has already adressed it, Tebow tried to adress it too late. |
I don't think that statement could be further from the truth. Manziel has proven he can throw the ball...
Pretty much this. Unlike Tebow, Manziel can throw very well; very accurate arm. And his elite athleticism and competitiveness will serve him well in the pros. Jake Locker is a better comparison, though, in my opinion. RG3's arm strength is elite, while those two have good but not great arm strength; same with speed- RG3 has elite speed, while those two are more athletic than fast. Locker would be a great QB if he could stay healthy, but Manziel is more talented yet, I think. |

I agree with you here. My comparison with Tebow was more global. I meant they both get a lot of press and neither will live up to it in the NFL. But some folks here love Manziel and that's cool. I'm not a soothsayer, just offering two cents. |

Would have been nice to have Sean and Laron play together for an extended period of time huh? But yes they may go down as one of the best ever. |

But yes they may go down as one of the best ever.
I can't help but think Landry would have ended up as Landry regardless. Even if he continued playing at the same level as earlier in his career he likely would have still run into the injury bug. Taylor on the other hand, I know we kind of romanticize about him a lot, but he really was worthy of the hype. Especially when he started to learn how to play center field. I mean how many safeties in the league today are 6'3 230 his kind of speed and agility. The best way I can describe him to all the youngins today was he was the defensive back version of Megatron. Funny thing I noticed though when watching this video was below that the poll for ESPN in regards to which player should the Redskins draft read 48% Kellen Winslow 35% Sean Taylor right before Taylor was selected. [YT]OzDrckoPKqM[/YT] Another thing I noticed even back then Mara seemed to have it in for the Redskins. "Whats that Joe Gibbs is making his first draft pick in 12 years? Better agree to trade with Chargers for Eli Manning so we can get back on TV." |
