I don't mind the Murphy pick. It is good that we are now in a position of strength at OLB regardless of what happens with Rak and Kerrigan.

We still have 2 picks tonight.

Allen said that their idea of BPA was going to take into account talent, character, and need. I could definitely see how Murphy was BPA.

We better be picking some OL come next round.

Mewhort should be there at 66.

2014 NFL Draft: Rounds 2-3

Antonio Richardson will be there. Im still holding my breath on moses
Edit : either way we didnt need to take Murphy with that pick if we wanted to add a pass rusher. I dont see this as a rak replacement at all - we can mix them all up and have a fantastic front 7 but why so early. Uggh.

Largest mits at the combine, and led the nation in sacks with 15 in his senior year according to his bio on NFL.com. Can he play middle linebacker?

Ehhh... I mean he's a great tackler, but he is a pass rusher. Perhaps he could play ILB, but I'm fairly certain we won't play him there, and I have no inside info.

If we could get Richardson (or Moses) and Yankey in the 3rd, all will be forgiven.

Finish out the season? How about week 1? Let's not forget, we will be facing JJ Watt and Jadeveon Clowney in week 1.

He's got the size for it, but it would be a project as he hasn't played the position before from what I've found online.

Moses shouldnt make it past denver and SF

Ugh......way to make me not even WANT to start the season for fear of RG getting wrecked

Re: 2014 NFL Draft: Rounds 2-3

Bench him for Cousins week 1, Calia. Besides the draft is over and the season starts tomorrow. We might as well just wait till our first pick in next years draft for any hope of having a winning football team... SMMFH

Everyone is a pro scout come draft time.

The one guy on our team that needs to be replaced at all costs is Polumbus imo.

Do you like the Murphy pick? The timing of it i mean, not addressing the pass rush or Murphy in particular. Is it the direction you would have gone if the Skins gave you the honor? Lol.

Don't see anyone claiming to know anything about scouting and what not, but it's not unrealistic to question drafting a guy some saw as a 4th rounder when oline and secondary help were bigger glaring needs and you still could have gotten this guy with one of your next two picks.

None of us are experts but we all have common sense

Not hard to see that we need help all over the OL

Just trading our pick to the fukin cowboys and let them get the def help they need already makes me want to grade this draft a big F,not to mention I dont like the pick. When all is said and done I sure hope I have a better outlook

Obviously the whole thing is a crapshoot. Alex Smith vs Tom Brady. However, as a fan or an expert we cannot predict the future. As it stands now Murphy is a reach that early. No question about it. Question about the future - sure. Rite now - makes little sense. Hope im dead wrong.
