LOL. She has a right to be pissed off. Our owner on the other hand does not. He's a huge part of our problem.
When you're pissed off, do you stop and think,"wait, do I have to right to be pissed off?" Whether or not Snyder has the right to doesn't matter, he runs the show, end of story. If we sit here year after year playing the "it will never be fixed until Snyder leaves" card, you're going to waste your life waiting for that to happen. I want him to go as much as the next guy, but it ain't going to happen. So what can we do other than whine about Snyder that can potentially fix the problem? |

The only thing we can do is hit him in the pocket. Stop dropping coin on this team (I.e tickets, jerseys, coffee cups, thong underwear for the wife :-)) This year I told all family members to not spend a dime on anything Redskins.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Yeah Dan isn't going anywhere so honestly it's either live with him and hope he turns this franchise into a Winner again or leave ship.

Re: All things off season 2015.
What QB in the NFL hits their ceiling after playing less than half a season? LOL. He still has more passing yards, more td passes, more passes over 20 yards, they have about the same pass attempts yet Griffin has been sacked way more. Sorry but KC shows MUCH more upside than Griffin and the numbers show it. KC just needs to cut down his turnovers which he can do, and also show better body language/mental toughness. Those things seem more coachable over a lack of field vision, holding the ball, taking sacks and throwing late. If I have to cut bait with one, Griffin is packing his bags and I'm moving on from the drama.
We'll have to agree to disagree. See the bolded: he has NEVER done that stuff. The things you think need to change haven't changed at all since his freshman year at Mich. St. That's seven years that he's been the same guy, throwing picks because of both errant passes and poor decisions. How much more of a long-term track record do we need than seven years? If Rex Grossman could have changed that stuff, he'd have been an all-pro. But old habits die hard, for Grossman as for Cousins. Some things don't change. And without those changes, Cousins remains the guy he is today: not good enough. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Yeah Kirk has had the INT issue going back to college. Not sure why people think he's suddenly going to clean that up, he was kind of a mess this year with the picks and it destroyed his confidence.
I think I'm in the camp of saying we have no true franchise QB. Maybe a guy we can be competitive with by having a strong enough supporting cast but probably not a game changer. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Griffin is just lost back there idk what or how he can change that
|
Re: All things off season 2015.
All three QB's proved to be weak links not on a playoff team, but on a 4-12 team.
IMO 'nuff said. I see no strong arguments for any of them. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
With the new regime in Atlanta I wonder if they would be Interested in trading Matt ryan? He'd be the perfect QB for us and honestly I'd give them our 1st for him. Just a thought

I'd say chances of that is 0.0 |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Lmao crazier things have happened but it is wishful thinking. Sigh it sucks always looking for a qb
|
Re: All things off season 2015.
I just. Hate losing both guys that we drafted that yr but o well honestly it's probably never going to work out with griffin
We could still salvage a Qb from that draft class by picking up Ryan Lindley. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
^ what if Philly let's Nick Foles go
|
Re: All things off season 2015.
I will agree that we do not have a starting qb on the current roster..i would take GENO SMITH over what we have!
|
Re: All things off season 2015.
After reading the quotes from Gruden's presser and the locker room today I'm even more convinced of a doomed 2015 offseason and subsequent season.
It appears that there won't be much significantly changed about how players are evaluated & acquired via draft and free agency so I'm not sure why there would be improved results. I'd expect a ton of roster churn but no true differences in the end result. I'd be pretty surprised if there was much turnover in the problem areas of the coaching staff (Haslett, Forester, Kotwica, Burney, Morris, Phillips, Jordan) and if new coaches are brought in what would make you think they are being evaluated any better than the existing ones, especially if they are being evaluated by the same people? We can't even get through locker clean out day without a MFing controversy. This damn team, I swear. Snyder is a coward for not speaking publicly. He's a coward for not taking any responsibility and he's a coward for not making the necessary moves to blow up the entire football operations that has produced 7-25 over the past 2 seasons, 8 last place finishes in 11 years. This is Matt Millen Lions territory folks. Don't fool yourself into believing it is anything else. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Kirk is going to be a good QB. We are going to be sorry if we let him go and someone like Houston or Cleveland get him.

Define "good". My thoughts on Cousins are that his ceiling is like a 2012 Tony Romo.. Puts up good stats, maybe some exciting games but you can't really count on him. I'd say over a 8 year career, starting more than not, Cousins would probably average about 3500 yards, 26 TD 16 INT. Is that productive, yeah kinda but is that what you can win with? |

Jim O'Brien will straighten him out just like the Texans. He will become our other Trent Green. |

Nothing wrong with that. Romo's been a real good qb for a long time. Now that Romo isn't being asked to win games, and he's got a good o-line, and a running game, he's in the discussion for MVP. Regardless of who the QB is, this is exactly what we need to do. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Romo is a straight out baller I've been saying it for years. Dude has always been good he just choked late but now with a run game finally he's ridiculous. Hate to say it but dallas can Win it all with romo playing this well

For all the gamblers: FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | QUARTERBACKS 2014 Most, if not all of Kirk's really bad play came at times in the game when we were behind, trying to mount a comeback. He played outside the system and tried to be a playmaker. He also didn't recover well from bad play. All of this is in his head. He has the ability to make the right read and throw the ball downfield in tight windows. His biggest problem isn't ability, but rather psychological. He is the most coachable QB on the roster today. |

Re: All things off season 2015.
i thought Haz Mats firing would be news by now when i clicked back on ... a decision has to be made before Allen's presser tomorrow ...
what is his status anyway? i thought Haz Mat had 1 more year last year .. so he wont be here anyway come Feb 1, 2015. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Apparently gruden wants to keep Haslett next yr. I'm down with firing the whole Staff at this point. Jay appears clueless

reading what Jay wrote, he gave "coach speak" to not throw another coach who has ties with him under the bus imo. i think jay knows Haz Mat is gone, so why damage his chances of getting another job elsewhere. jay wanted to bring in a D position coach from cincy to be his D coord ... until he was told who his D coord was (or that position coach was named D coord for cincy making him an ineligible lateral move candidate) .. choose whatever plot line fits your agenda. i choose the "he was told who his D coord is" b/c it fits my agenda that the DS and bruce are calling the shots still and jay is yet another HC thrown into an un-winnable situation. |
