He will be in DC by the end of summer. Bradford, 10th pick and some picks next year for the Skins 5th.

Yeah. I could see a even swap with Foles/Bradford, but to give up a (conditional) 2nd rounder and another pick for him is beyond stupid. It's like Vinny Cerrato is giving Chip advice.

Philly fans right now:

But the eagles didn't get the 10th overall and they unconditionally gave up their 2nd rounder next year. At this point the Jets must be flying high if they want mariotta

Apparently Chip Kelly's conditions for signing a player are if a.) he coached them at Oregon or b.) they have a history of being injury prone:

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 40m40 minutes ago
Or that RT @MikeGarafolo: Actually, more than a visit for RB Ryan Mathews with he Eagles. He’s expected to sign with the team, source says.

If I had to chose who I absolutely would hate to sign to the Skins at RB, it would be Ryan Mathews. Id take Gore, Murray, Spiller, Forsett...shit bring back Helu over Mathews.

The Eagles are a complete joke

Okay, updating CK's dismantling of Philly:

Gone: Last year's starting QB, leading rusher and leading receiver.
Replaced With: Bradford/Sanchez, R. Mathews and J. Mathews.

Once again, I am good with that.

I bet this is making Iggles fans feel all warm and fuzzy:

Albert Breer ‏@AlbertBreer 8m8 minutes ago
Eagles QB Sam Bradford was rehabbing at the Rams facility daily leading up to the trade. He's running now. Expected to be throwing by OTAs.

They're getting started early on becoming accustomed to the weekly "How hurt is Sam Bradford currently?" media reports.

Its funny to read the Eagles Message boards after the press conference, most the comments were "i dont know what to believe anymore" And others talked about if things were all about money, why did they absorb 16 million dollars for Bradford?

Its a circus up there folks. Cant talk bad about the skins and their garbage anymore

Agreed. The Rams would have gotten the same offer and taken it, and the Eagles, if it happened, would be smart to take it.

The fact that Kelly is lying in that way makes me more sure that he's playing for Mariota.

Yup, complete garbage...Chip presser was to calm the base down. That comment came off as flippant and arrogant, trying to justify the move by saying other organization approve it so much they offered me a 1st...not buying it, chip has a history of "coach/gm speak"

Colts offense looks strong with addition of A. Johnson and F. Gore.
One of the most improved teams on paper. Will it translate to more wins in the playoffs?

we only really want knighton for 2 downs though. paea would play DT on 3rd down to rush the passer.

This would have been a mega-deal about 6 years ago. At this point, I wouldn't get too excited over 31 yo RB and 33 yo WR. Glad we're not the ones shelling out cash for players' retirement... I'd say they get at best 1, and I doubt two years from them.

I really don't like it that the Skins let Knighton get out of town without closing the deal with him. But what do I know? He and his agent may have an inflated idea of his value. Still, I assume that the Skins and his agent would have discussed the parameters of a deal prior to his visit. Oh well, we'll find out soon enough where he goes. I hope we get him.

With Browner being 6-4, 221 and now 30 years old, could there be any thought by the Redskins of possibly moving him to safety? He has good speed and he is very rugged. He might be able to do some damage as a safety.

Or am I out of my mind, as usual?

So back to NFL Free Agent signings, DeMarco Murray is visiting the Iggles. I was hoping that Jacksonville or the Raiders would lure him out of the NFC East.

If he does sign, it'll be interesting to see him run behind Philly's line; not the same as the Cowboys IMO.

He hasn't played safety before, so he might not be able to make the transition. Rather have him on the outside player corner jamming WR's and excelling in bump n run coverage
