3 rookies from this draft class made some nice plays in the 1st half, Jones, Crowder and Smith.

Well one of our td's was a deflected lucky catch. Also they had a 103 yard kickoff return with 20 seconds left in the half and somehow didnt put points on the board. The ravens are not very good either but completely dominated us. I dont care what the scoreboard says.

It's nice to see Kirk bounce back after the EARLY int. He didn't lose focus and throw 3 more. Play calling is suspect. What happened to running the ball?? Grant looks mediocre. Crowder looks ok. Reed was descent in limited action. Even the defensive front looked good stopping the run. Our secondary is bad though...really bad. It's great we stop the run...but forcing them to pass may be our downfall.

It's been a.rough game so far.. the "lead" is a bit.decieving.. last stop for us.was against Matt.schaub ... We almost blew the lead on the following kickoff... Kirk has looked good... For the most part... Play calling has.been shitty... Secondary looks flat out terrible... Pass rush looks bleak as well honestly... A lot of work but a glimmer of hope from cousins, reed, grant at times, crowded, and def Matt Jones... Defense looks poor... Mostly dbs and pass rush.... I dunno wat to say, a lot of work to do

I am happy with the first half. No sacks, one turn over and leading. Not much of a running game KC is not hurting the team. Right side of the line is holding up well. A nice goal line defense.

Play calling in preseason is supposed to be erratic. Don't put too much stock into that aspect for the half.

Reading some of the comments on this forum crack me up, Grant sucks, blah, blah, blah. Yet we are undefeated in pre-season and leading at 1/2 time. That Crowder catch was lucky but also an indication of being in the right place at the right time and he strike as the type that will do it again and again.

Thats what people don't seem to understand, it doesn't matter who starts they both aren't good enough to lift this team higher than 6-10. Team sucks and both qb's are bad. It doesn't matter which one is better because they both probably should be backups.

RG3 has a first read open, he doesnt throw it.

KC has his first read triple covered, throws it anyway.

If we could get a QB with RG3's ability to not throw it when the first read is covered and KC's ability to throw it if the first read is open, we could probably be a pretty good team.
