Your score is: 9427 (GRADE: C+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 26 (SEA): Malik McDowell, DT/DE, Michigan State (A-) Round 2 Pick 1 (CLE): Budda Baker, FS, Washington (B+) Round 2 Pick 22 (MIA): Carlos Watkins, DT, Clemson (A) Round 3 Pick 17: Kendell Beckwith, ILB, LSU (B-) Round 3 Pick 33 (DEN): David Sharpe, OG, Florida (A) Round 3 Pick 34 (MIA): Devonte Fields, OLB/DE, Louisville (B) Round 4 Pick 7: Adam Shaheen, TE, Ashland (B+) Round 4 Pick 17: Kyle Fuller, C, Baylor (A) Round 5 Pick 10: James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh (A-) Round 6 Pick 17: Jalen Myrick, CB, Minnesota (B) Round 6 Pick 25: Amba Etta-Tawo, WR, Syracuse (B+) Round 7 Pick 17: Anthony Firkser, FB, Harvard (A-)[/quote] I like this draft a lot too...I would be ecstatic to come away with your top 4 picks. And Conner, the RB from Pitt is a load. Just curious how this draft got a C+ grade, when all of your picks are rated as either an A or B. That makes no sense to me. |

I looked at that awhile back & I think last year was like only 2 out of the 30+ guys joined the team...one was Steven Daniels and I can't remember the other one. |

The first round of the draft is not the only chance to improve the defense. They have $60+ million for free agents. And 8 more draft picks. If you had Reed and Howard as TEs, Doctson and Crowder as WRs..... you might score 35 points per game. |

Move him to guard or have Pocic move to guard. I've seen mocks with him in the 2nd round so he was also BPA at that point. |

Is Breeland moving to safety? I heard that this week. If he does, I gotta think he will be a FS type, esspecially if Cravens goes to Safety. |

Id keep Bree in the slot unless if they decide to play more press man on the outside. I wouldn't move him to Free Safety at all. Pencil in Cravens SS and Norman CB on his side as starters. Keep open the opposite CB side for Dunbar and Fuller competition. Breeland in the Slot and Blackmon as the incumbent FS and adding a FS draft prospect behind Blackmon. You probably could add a CB draft prospect as well. |
Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
As much as I want a pass rusher or DLine man I would not be upset if we could get a CB like Teez Tabor.
If he can start or become a first year starter then our secondary would be solidified especially if Cravens stays in the safety position. That would make it easier to move Breeland to safety too. |
Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
I have been watching the mocks and highlights and really think that the value/need for us will be Budda Baker out of Washington at 13 or even a couple spots back if we can pull off a trade, he slots in immediately as your starting FS and Cravens at SS that would be a great combo. I just don't think any of the top flight D Linemen will be available there and anyone else worth taking with be there in the 2nd for us. I think there was reason he got the extra mid round pick for 2017. This might be the reason, SM thought the 2017 class had better players or was a deeper draft. |

You have to almost consider Cravens a project still, plus his rook year was injury ridden. Sorry, I just am not all in with Cravens yet. The 2016 class sort of was meh after all was said and done. Too many stud safeties in this draft, as well as CBs. I don't see why anyone would be satisfied with our defensive backfield sans Norman. IF Breeland can get his mojo back from 2014-15 we are OK at CB with an addition via the draft just for depth or to develop for later with Fuller. |

On Redskin Nation Larry Michael just gave a list of all the Redskins draft picks in 2017.... "They have the 17th pick in every round " ... nope, is the staff totally clueless.

I've been doing so many mock drafts on that fanspeak site. Good way to see some different player names to research. Tyus Bowser from Houston looks like a good OLB in 3rd + round.

Every draft is pivotal to any team's future. I think this draft will guide the direction of the team philosophy either towards the run or the pass. In my view either towards Scott or Jay's view.

Your score is: 9996 (GRADE: C+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 17: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+) ^^The decision at 17 IF 1 of the top RBs is still on the board is imho a franchise changing decision.
