Saints have to feel good only being down 4. Our 2-minute woes rear their ugly head again :(

Very frustrating. But still HTTR and I dont know why lol

We are absolutely dominating this game and we still can only turn it into a 4 point lead.

Smiths dumb penalty, an offsides, and a defensive meltdown make what should be 24-3 into 17-13. How many years am I going to have to watch that crap happen? Because it seems like a lifetime already.

Our spcial teams is always a net negative over the full season. We just constantly screw up on ST.

We need to draft all defense next year. Even though they're better than last year we still can't stop anybody.
Yes we are winning but this team and this coach are just straight allergic to success. I mean up 17-10 with the ball in fg range and a minute something left on the clock. Only us and the Browns go into half with less of a lead. Unbelievable.
Jay is Norv 2.0. His teams are inconsistent because he tolerates the little mistakes that lead to losses.

This is going to go down as one of the greatest "could have been" seasons. As sad and frustrating as it is, I actually feel good about the future of this team (if we can retain Cousins). This is a good and talented team that needs some tweaks to br really powerful.

Well what's he suppose to do? The guys that are making mistakes are better than the back ups so you just have to coach em up. You guys act like Gruden can wave a majic wan or something...

Gruden has already benched numerous players for fumbling / underperforming so no, he is not Norv 2.0. It's hard to bench everyone who screws up when there are so many injuries.

Re: Skins v. Saints Gameday Thread

I do too, we have another good draft and resolve the QB situation, no reason we can't be a playoff team.

If this team could chop bonehead plays in half, that alone is worth at least an extra win a season. Maybe 2 or 3.

McGee. He played like shit in the first half when they ran all over his ass. Then he couldn't even just stay in his stance on the FG attempt. His coaches in Oakland couldn't motivate him and now he has brought his underachieving ways to D.C. Gruden needs to stay on his ass to see if he can be at least be embarrassed into trying harder.

They are all could have been seasons. Lol. We never really kick ass or get our asses kicked. 90% of our losses come down to three or four dumb plays. That is on coaching. Not just the current one, but everyone since Gibbs 1.0
So God damned frustrating.

Gruden got in his mug, I like that, and he looked like he could give 2 shits. Sorry, that won't fly, he'll be cut in the off-season.

I disagree. They look better this year than in any of Grudens previous years, especially considering all the injuries.

They are 4-5. Those are the only numbers that matter.

Like the ST coach, for example. We're overdue for a ST coaching change.

They have practically looked the same in the past three years...in 2017 the team looks no different than how they looked in 2015 & 2016..

You are what your record says you are; nevertheless, we have more young talent now than we've had in many years.

So why doesn't Jay bring in a special teams advisor, like Peyton did?

Yes, but we had zero young talent before. Lol. Look we are in football purgatory. Will we have a QB next year? Im 100% not sold on Gruden yet. We have no GM. Its my team though. Im stuck here with them. This game today would say and do alot about whether they are going to Heaven or Hell.

How many years has it been since we've had a decent punt returner? We've had great punt returners in the past.

That wasn't a blatant hold on Kerrigan? Wow, such BS.
