Re: Around the NFL, Training Camp Style
I wonder if we could trade Lavaou to the Rams, and a 3rd or 4th for Roger Saffold. It would make sense for their cap, and McVay knows Lavaou (maybe likes him enough to use him)
Just a thought... |
Mack to the Bears... per ESPN
Im at a loss...the raiders were spending money like crazy on old ass, washed up players just a couple years ago...now they didn’t want to spend on the 2016 defensive player of the year? This is beyond stupid for the raiders...and a pretty smart move by the bears. They have low cap do to cheap money at skill positions sans the x jags wr Robinson. Smart move Bears....franchise setting-back move by raiders. Stupid |

Trent smoked (possibly might still when he knows they aren't testing in the offseason) but I think after all these strikes he knows better than to do it during the season. TL;DR: I'd be surprised if half the league doesn't smoke, just seems like these kids aren't smart enough to realize there's a time and a place. Good for the Cowboys opponents' though, that'll be a 4 game suspension. |

Speaking of Cowboys, they cut Dan Bailey.....WTF???

You wanna talk about dumb players smoking weed, Martavis Bryant step on up:
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/24548815/oakland-raiders-cut-martavis-bryant-suspension-looms Shoutout to Gruden for giving up a 3rd rounder for Bryant and then cutting him before he ever plays a game. |

I have a feeling that Gruden is going to make Josh McDaniel's time in Denver as coach seem like a brilliant move. Never understood why people think he's some genius. He is mostly to blame for the implosion of the Tampa Bay Bucs. He's a good coach, but he doesn't need to be in charge of personnel. |

Re: Around the NFL, Training Camp Style
Broncos placed S Su'a Cravens (knee) on injured reserve.
Su'a participated in the Broncos' final week of training camp and preseason finale but saw his knee flare up over the weekend. He'll undergo surgery and miss the entire 2018 season. In a corresponding move, Denver signed back WR Isaiah McKenzie. Poor guy |
Re: Around the NFL, Training Camp Style
I may be wrong but the Craven trade allowed us to pick Tim Settle.

That was my understanding too, I think we got him with one of the Broncos picks. If Settle works out no harm no foul. It looks pretty good now that Cravens is done for the year. |

You meant LG right? And interior depth... Anyway, I agree, I'd like to see them make some moveS, we have 11M+ available according to otc (13M+ according to spotrac, Schneed do you know which one is accurate?), so don't tell me none of these 42 gentlemen can play better than Dunn and Bergstrom: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/center/available/ https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/guard/available/ |

Rico, who was on the roster bubble, knew he had to work to keep his spot on the 53. Went out that night and with less than 18 hours before cuts...down to the wire...got his arrest for sitting in a car smoking weed. Thus securing his spot on the Cowboys for 2018 and in Jerry’s heart forever. |
