Building doesn't even look that dilapidated from the outside on Google Maps - def got questions for the building inspector. Such a tragedy.

Really makes you wonder how many other buildings are out there right now in similar condition?

Maryland guy ... meet Biz maybe 20 years ago. My friends bands/group was on one of the opening acts for him at some beach bar in San Diego.

Maybe 25 people total there. Biz forgot the words to "Just a Friend" like 20 seconds into the song and it was just a brutal few minutes as the instrumental still played, he looked sweaty overweight and tired.

Saw him "back stage" and it was just him and his manager. He signed my blackbook .. felt so bad for him. I was hoping the slut of a girlfriend i was with at the time would break him off but she didnt.

Terps basketball has the crowd do a sing a long to Just a Friend .. always wished theyd bring him out for a quick cameo, crowd would have loved it. Maryland repping Maryland, he lived in Bowie so hes like 15 mins away from College Park.

RIP Biz

Scott van peezy nails it:

I have a weird thing about rare vs. unique. A stickler on the difference between the two. Rare means scarce or uncommon, unique is: the only one of its kind.

Norm Macdonald was truly a unique comedic voice. Fascinating and brilliant. May he RIP.

I’ve been rewatching the norm YouTube clips…him and Artie on Stern telling the Bob Uecker story,, doing the last Letterman show telling the Germany joke…and the clips of the Bob Sagat roast…and the many Conan O’Brien clips. Truly hilarious

He really managed to keep that quiet - that's pretty amazing when you've been fighting it for 10 years.

RIP - his most memorable performance for me was on the Saget roast. Nobody else had the balls to use the stage like that - on a show where being the most savage scores the most points he went the opposite direction. Unique - he was 1 of 1.

Take it to the proper forum G1 - we don't need to turn the RIP thread into another hot-take thread.

Dude…wtf.

I just watched half that special on Christmas

An absolute legend, I was a football fan because of his enthusiasm for the game….his knowledge.

John Madden loved the RFK and those Joe Gibbs skins teams

R.I.P. thread

To Chico’s point - He sure did. He thought Washington football in the 80s was how it was meant to be played. So sad about this. I definitely learned more from him than any other sportscaster. He was insightful and made the game so much more accessible. And his affection for football was infectious. Madden and Summerall was the gold standard and no one has come close to that tandem in my opinion.
