Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
I say we keep building up the rest of the roster except the qb, and bring in one of those average free agents to hold us over until the next year, then try to do what the Eagles did with Wentz. Could you imagine bringing in a rookie qb that already has a strong team around him? That's the ideal situation for me.

I would then invite anyone who wants to, to join him. |

Maybe because the stadium is empty anymore and people have stopped showing up. This is the end. It’s literally the worst it’s EVER BEEN. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
Screw him. I saw him pretty much walking in a half-assed attempt to make a tackle.

Fun fact. Did you know Cerrato had a better record and more playoff appearances than Bruce Allen?

Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
What's crazy is I don't think it's just Mason Foster against the fans... he's just the only one dumb enough to put it out there. We heard J-No's grumbles earlier, so I'm guessing it's more than a few individuals in that locker room who are probably on the same wave length.
Unless your name sells jerseys, I don't think most of these guys even care what we think. It's the Front Office who's going to take the hit if the fans are pissed back at the players. The bottom line is the money- and as we saw last weekend, they're starting to feel it in the wallet. |
Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
Fact is, Gruden has clearly lost the locker room. Another reason in a long list of reasons he should have been fired with Allen on Sunday

Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
Taking roster talent and record out of the equation, I can't think of another organization that is as much of a dumpster fire right now. Jacksonville's defense has still played pretty solidly this year, despite their awful QB situation. Josh Allen is breaking QB running records in Buffalo. The Raiders are at least moving to Vegas. The Browns have turned their organization around somewhat with a franchise QB.
Not only do we have the crazy scandals, the media hits (whatever your opinion on Kaep is, the team is getting slaughtered with each passing game by all sides of the press: television, internet, radio). And now the all out, three-way battle royale between the squad, the front office and the fans. In my multiple decades of fandom, I've never seen something like this. The Zorn years had terrible football... The Allen/Gruden years have enough fodder for a 30 for 30 special. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Haha, I think it may have had to do with switching to a division rival. Even mentioning the Eagles (even in jest) is considered only less blasphemous than a switch to the Cowboys. I do see a lot more switching of allegiances amongst NBA fans, especially the younger generations. I think it has more to do with following players nowadays than teams for some. But it's much rarer in the NFL. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Are you giving Cerrato credit for the performance under Gibbs 2.0 because that’s not right - Gibbs had complete authority. Same with Shanahan. You have to remove their records to look at Cerrato vs Allen. Nevertheless your point stands they both eat ass. |

Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
The fact that Mason Foster is still on this roster is a huge sign of how shitty our FO is. No player should survive the shit that Foster said today. I don't give a fuck how shitty the fans treat him on social media.

Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
Why would he say fuck the fan base?
Because fans aren't cheering their lame asses while getting blown out by a shitty team at home, and then calling their sorry asses out on social media. |
Or sue him once he saw he was on the field without a field pass
Actually I had one... A 30 years ticket holder had an extra one, saw my sign and gave it to me... Man people are the stadium were so generous to me... Crazy! I have to find 20 minutes to tell you guys about it! |
Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
Explained everything in my Fringes of Football thread.
Back to the game... the level of sloppiness and unpreparation is unacceptable... False starts, illegal substitution, unblocked defenders, blown coverages, missed tackle... and Haha freakin' Clinton motherfockin' Dix on top of that... top safety in the league? What a pathetic joke! Gruden must go, I've defended him for a long time but that's enough. Probably Allen too. This team deserves a clean start and this roster has more talent than the results show. Re: Dumpster fire Postgame
Speaking of Foster, why the hell did they keep him over Spaight? That baffled me. Foster is the most un athletic LB I have every seen. Once he's in space it is just over for him. They should make an example out of him and cut his ass.
