I hate the fact that Colt is starting this game.
But I somehow have a little more respect for Jay because of it. I kinda like that "F U Snyder I don't give one single fuck anymore I'll do whatever the fuck I want" mentality.

Oh, and apparently the weed and young lady videos are more than a year old, welp, who could have interest in seeing these videos leak now ? :D

Jay smoking weed is the very last issue by 20 miles about his HCing the team. Watching him coach makes me wish I smoked lol.

Agreed 100%. But the timing does suggest somebody wanting to harm Jay's image, doesn't it?

I wouldn't put it past this franchise at all. The team is broken. Even if they didn't, it's sad that we just assume they did it or had something to do with it (mainly because they actually have done it so many times).

Guarantee it us from BA’s camp. Same way they leaked how Jay didn’t want to keep AP. It is all done to deflect onto Jay and ignore the FO incompetence

I hope that is all it is an FU. His tenure started with being told to play Robert and it ends with him being told to play Haskins. My fear is that in reality Dwayne is so far from ready to start at this point. I keep hearing how he is having difficulty with understanding the playbook. If that’s true that is a problem.

Did you ever notice when they are showing player highlights it always seems like the Redskins are on the receiving end of it.

It's standard operating procedure for firing a coach or GM at Redskins Park. Always pave the way with character assassination.

Colt McCoy starting? On any other team he would be the 3rd team QB. He is an injury prone rag arm. I have a feeling this year is quickly going to end up like last year. Is Mark Sanchez still available?

That's been an ongoing situation for the last 20 years.

It's what happens when you are the laughingstock of the league except for 4 rando years where you rose above mediocrity in the 2nd half of the season to win a bunch of games and barely squeak in the playoffs.

You want us to ask the propaganda arm of this dicktatership? We'd have better luck asking China if everything's ok in Hong Kong.

I only listen to Michael on the radio on game day. The station for best reception only has an hour pregame and post game show. I don't watch videos due to data capped internet. I didn't know he was pro Snyder and Allen.

So they are starting an injury prone guy with a back up of a guy battling a foot problem and they aren't going to have a 3rd QB? Sounds really, really, dumb.

Larry Michael is owned by....errr...I mean....employed by Dan Synder and the Redskins Organization.

I though that everyone already knew that.

Anyway, my Redskins vs. Patriots Pigskin Prediction...

New England Patriots 49
Washington Redskins 3

And the lone Field Goal will come either at the beginning of the game or at the very end of the game.

You're talking about the Redskins. Jay isn't going to put in Haskins as a backup anymore, especially after last week. He's either the starter or in street clothes IMO.

As far as Colt goes, I just don't get it. Haskins must really be struggling in picking up the offense. The last time few times we saw Colt he threw 3 picks and the next week got hurt. But he can spit out the plays so put in out there...

To me this is the most logical thing Haskins just isn’t ready or capable right now. If Jay wanted a big FU to Snyder wouldn’t it be to play Haskins and show how much the first round pick is a project? My guess is that Jay knows his standing in the NFL vs BA and DS and is sticking to his convictions.

Fantastic analogy TMC. I have this great visual of Larry Michael spewing out the regurgitated shit that comes out of Snyder and Allen's ass.

Re: Pats Pregame Thread

Also I see a lot of you guys are having trouble understanding why Haskins isn't ready.

Part of it is because it's difficult adjusting from college to the NFL, especially when you only have 14 college starts. Part of it is because Jay Gruden does not tailor his offense to his personnel, which would make it easier for a rookie qb who knows nothing to come in and contribute early. And part of it is because everybody's different, some people take time to learn things.

The inconsistent footwork and needing to learn how to protect himself better are two things you can see in his on field play. On a positive note he wasn't blatantly staring down receivers or prematurely fleeing the pocket. The later two being a common flaw to guys who quickly get destroyed when film on them becomes available.

I have no problem sitting Haskins at this juncture. I just thought considering the circumstances the team needs 3 QBs eligible to play on game day.

On Vegas Insider the money line on the Redskins is as high as +850. For those that don't bet just betting the Redskins to win straight up with no point spread gets you a profit of $850 on a $100 wager.

I can't look it up as I no longer know anyone with at offshore betting account, but a lot of places will allow you to alter the point spread and it will effect the payout accordingly. If the Skins and no points is +$850 I would be curious what Redskins -14 would pay. It would have to be double that or so.

Who here reported Haskins as inactive? Sports Illustrated is reporting Keenum is inactive. After the initial slaughter I will only watch if Haskins goes in. I will listen to the radio and try to get some work and chores done. No reason to watch McCoy. I will try a different strategy and not wear any of my Redskin hats on game day.
