I do like their chances to win 3 of the next 4 games though.
Giants, Bangels, Dallas, Philly, and possibly Detroit could all be wins. Forget the rest. |

You don't think the Panthers are a winnable game?

I think that’s doubtful. Someone will get to at least 7 wins. |
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
The Eagles will win it at 6-9-1 prob
|
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
When I realized that, after today, all the opponents we've faced outside the division will be 5-2 or better, I think we may be a bit better than we thought.

Well, this team is definitely not as bad as some on here would like to believe, but they definitely haven't proven to be that good yet either. While Dallas was terrible, they did manage to put a complete game together for once, and they did what they should have done. I haven't seen them actually take care of business when they should - in a long time. So that's promising. I think it's a lot of growing pains, with new coaches, new systems, etc. We'll see what they look like after the bye. I prefer to be optimistic, and think things are headed in the right direction. |

Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Ron will be extra motivated to beat Carolina, I think we can beat them but this team isn't winning more than 5 games regardless unless they make some moves
|
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
If we're serious about challenging for the division, then I expect some moves this week. Trade deadline for one, and it's bye week.
I'd expect a move for S depth at least with Collins likely out for the year. And moving out RK and/or Anderson would signal to me they are serious about 2020, unless it was only for draft picks (which is also fine by me as it gives us options to build a roster to compete in 2021). |
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Ryan Kerrigan, Ryan Anderson, and Jon Bostic seem to be the likely candidates to part ways with if they can get something in return.
I wouldn't mind them trading for a quality tight end too. RR did that in his first year with Carolina, trading a 3rd round pick for a guy named Greg Olsen. Njoku wants out of Cleveland, and he could be a nice piece to add moving forward. |

Fabian Moreau as well...hell Darby is on a one year deal and has played well, if we aren’t serious with resigning and someone gives us a 4th rounder...then that works. Even 6, 5 rounders for these guys are wins. If the are not in the plans for the future, move them period |
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Really hope we're not buyers at the deadline.

Agreed Aquire draft picks over everything |
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
I don't know. I wouldn't expect them to be big buyers, but I don't think it is a bad idea to look toward the future and add a piece or two that they think could be a big part of this team's future.
I think they can do both. Move on from some players to add draft capital, and add a piece or two for the future. |

Aquire draft picks over everything
As many as possible. Too bad Landon Collins' trade value is down now. |
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Twitter seems to be linking Marvin Jones to the Team... If they can get him for a 6th I'd say go for it
|
The Eagles will win it at 6-9-1 prob
I don't see the Eagles winning that many. Their schedule is backloaded like ours has been frontloaded. After a couple against the NFC East, they have to play Cleveland, Seattle, Green Bay, New Orleans, Arizona all in that order. All likely losses. I think they'll split with the Giants, should beat Dallas, we'll beat them again. I see 3 more wins for them, getting them to 5-10-1. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- We should beat or be competitive against: Lions Bengals Panthers Plus 3 more games vs. division rivals that are all winnable. Guaranteed losses vs. Seahawks, 49ers, Steelers. I could see us at 6-10, assuming we can take 2/3 of remaining NFCE games and 2/3 of that "winnable" list. |

Definitely! Solid player. Do they need a backup QB with an active Twitter account? |
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
We lead the division in point differential at -32.
I could see us going 6-10 and winning the division. 2020 is just a fucked up year. --------------------- Marvin Jones is 30 years old and on the last year of his contract ... Im a hard pass. |

Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Im am still loving this fucking win over Dallas.
Been a good week so far. |
Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
I'm also loving how dejected anyone who roots for Dallas sounds.
Listened to an interview with a baseball player on the radio last night in the car and at the end, they asked him about the Cowboys since he's a fan. Completely ruined his mood at the end of the interview. Loved it! Can't remember who it was, he was a former Dodger. |

Would Dallas go QB?
Jets and Jacksonville will probably go QB...would Dallas? Their cap space and daks injury, could their be a qb pick surprise? |

There's no guarantee Dak will be the same Dak when he returns. Obviously they have never been in love with him anyway... |

Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Having a good QB1 on a rookie contract is a GMs wet dream. Cowboys have serious cap issues hitting the books next year.
Coopers cap hit jumps to 22M Elliot jumps to 13.7 D Lawrence jumps to TWENTY FIVE MILLION DOLLARS They structured deals to go all in this year by pushing contracts to 2021 and beyond |

Yeah I'd say so with that defense and now no Dak.. I'm starting to think if we want Fields we would have to move up for him and that's not a great idea. Maybe Zach Wilson will be available at 32 when we pick. |

That's my thinking too. There will be a lot of teams interested driving up that price too. |

Their cap space and daks injury, could their be a qb pick surprise?
Absolutely, they already made it clear they don't think Dak is worth his asking price, or he'd already be under contract. With him hurt with no contract, it's the perfect, heartless, Jerry Jones way to part ways. They always make draft day splashes. They could go QB. In fact I could see Jerry even trying to move up a couple spots for Trevor.
I don't think they win another game all year.
