Re: Fitzmagic thread
It's pretty simple really, I feel a million times more hopeful with this year's qb room than I have in ....... a pretty long time. I have all the faith in the world with #4, as well.

I mean no doubt he's a dumb kid, but I ain't gonna shit on him for being a victim. DV in general is not a joke whether it happens to a man or a woman. I can still make fun of him for going to the skrip clubs when his coach is recovering from cancer though. |

They went to Las Vegas to…. Wait for it… Renew their wedding vows. And she ends up knocking him around and picking up a felony assault charge in the process. Good riddance 🤡. Top 5 Defense and a very underrated OL. I'm not sure why anyone would not want to play for Ron Rivera too. |

News Now is predicting that he will be WFT's biggest bust. I hope that doesn't happen.
News Now is predicting that he will be WFT's biggest bust. I hope that doesn't happen.
No way Fitz will be a big bust. Even if his play doesn't pan out it is not like they signed him to a massive deal. Far more likely he has a spectacular year which leaves us with fewer options next year.

Pete Hailey was just on the Sports Junkies and he said Fitz is getting better every day and Heinicke isn't. As he put it, they started out a mile apart and now Fitz is five miles ahead. He sees no way Heinicke starts over Fitz. |
Re: Fitzmagic thread
It doesn't really matter who the QB is. We have to draft a QB next year. We aren't going anywhere w/ any of these guys.

I'd imagine they will try and trade for a guy next yr over drafting a Rookie. Maybe they will look at a young QB2 that impresses in Pre Season or something. Ron doesn't seem like a Rookie QB guy, Cam was the exception. Also no surprise Fitz is better than TH... |

If we're in position to draft a franchise QB next year AND there's a guy you really believe in, of course, do it. But I like the "don't force it" approach. Maybe Fitzpatrick has more than just one season left in the tank, and maybe Heinicke found a way to stay healthy and becomes a long term solution. Or maybe not, but I wouldn't want the team to force an expensive ($ or draft capital) QB on themselves if they don't want him and/or think they can compete with either Fitz or Taylor. |
Re: Fitzmagic thread
FWIW
Fitz posted a Passing grade of 90 last week. Pretty dang good |
Re: Fitzmagic thread
I know I have sky high expectations for Fitz/McLaurin/Logan with Curtis Samuel and Dyami as added weapons but I am really amazed when I look at Fantasy rankings like this one and others that have him as the 18th best option. Last year, his per game average extrapolated to 16 games would have him in the top 10.
I know it doesn't mean anything, I simply don't get it. Are they projecting he won't play all 17 games? That somehow his completion percentage is going to plummet? What exactly is the rationale for the low rankings? |

Re: Fitzmagic thread
That throw to Thomas, back shoulder, perfect ... we havent seen a Skins QB make that type of throw, throwing a covered guy open, since Cousins.

well this didn't last long.....

Re: Fitzmagic thread
Google says this:
It takes time—sometimes*2 to 3 months—for the hip to heal after a dislocation. The rehabilitation time may be longer if there are additional fractures. The doctor may recommend limiting hip motion for several weeks to protect the hip from dislocating again. Physical therapy is often recommended during recovery. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |
Re: Fitzmagic thread
A hip injury is no joke. Under the best scenario he's probably out at least a month. My purely uneducated guess is he's out for at least 8-12 weeks.

Good work Leno. Got absolutely embarrassed on that play by a back-up.

Yeah he's done folks, dude needs to retire

I haven’t been able to fully review the slo mo replay which is my preferable data source for medical diagnosis. I typically find these a greater source over mri, X-ray, etc.
From my experience, this looks to be closer to season ending. I’ll have to review how he hit the ground again. -internet expert medical doctor Chico, M.D. |

Fitzpatrick to IR, no surprise there, no word on if it's season ending or not.

Re: Fitzmagic thread
I am fine with Tyler, i don't think Fitzmagic has much left to offer to be honest. I rather Tyler get his opportunity and potential have a higher draft pick(s) then Fitzbitch coming back and we go .500 or just below.

It sure isn't a joke. An injured hip is what finished Bo Jackson's career and he ended up needing a hip replacement. I hope Fitz's injury isn't severe. |
