A million pluses to this. The offense seemed prepared outta the gate versus Atlanta and Philadelphia, but that was it. The defense has yet to be prepared outta the gate versus anyone other than the Cardinals. It has been a pattern since Rivera has been in Washington.

80k in the stadium and millions at home knew how the Giants would attack our offense, even the beat reporters had been talking all week about how to combat it. Yet Ron and EB wete completely oblivious. But I bet none of the reporters will challenge them on this at the press conference.

I actually hope they don’t. Because he will throw the staff, the team, me, you, and the bum sleeping in the parking lot under the bus. There is no mystery here. Ron is a terrible Coach. Thank God he has ten games left tops.

In all seriousness I don't know how much longer the ownership can wait to make a statement. One of the big selling points for a new coach will be a young QB on a rookie contract with potential. Not if he is killed.

Definitely agree. The biggest reason this draft is a success is those players are still playing beyond the average shelf life and state line of an NFLer at their draft point. Gibson is propped up by getting chances over and over

And honestly with this staff you never really know what you have in a player. They don’t exactly utilize or get the best out of anyone. When they do for a game that player seems to disappear. All three coaches are just stubborn jack asses constantly trying to shove a square peg into a round hole. Because otherwise they would have to think.

- The RB gets the ball and he's stuffed at the line and fights for a yard; or

- Howell drops back to pass and he's sacked; then

- Here comes Tress Way to punt again.

I think we went deep twice on first down yesterday. It was constantly short pass or run behind the guard. EB was awful yesterday. Embarrassingly awful.

And fuck that fire Ron. No warning shot needed. Even the oblivion king must be fully aware he is not going to be here next year.

I think at this point, strictly long-term thinking only, letting the whole staff finish the season is the best option.

1. We won't win more than 7 games, and that's being extremely kind at this point;
2. We should then finish w/ a Top 10 pick
3. We can start 100% fresh in 2024
4. Fuck, we're all still here, we can absolutely tough out 10 more games
5. No one in the NFL world will find the decision to fire everyone after the season less than 100% justified. This will be good for getting the absolute best candidates available in the off-season.

There are more that can be added, but 5 is sufficient for 1 post.

Unfortunately, you're probably correct. It does make it difficult when literally every Coordinator and the Head Coach sucks. I still want them fired for cause though - yesterday...

Make Nate Kaczor the interim HC, promote Ken Zampese to OC, Richard Rodgers to DC, and also show Del Rio Jr, and Rivera Jr the door. They probably didn't ear their jobs anyway. This whole coaching staff is terrible! No wonder this team is so bad...

If you have Sam Howell throwing 42 passes in a single game, then you've already failed. Period. He's not anywhere close to this stage in his career to do this. The running game needs to be established first and foremost. Period.

It is unfortunately a combination of so many things. We could go 50 / 50 run pass and it won’t matter. We are never aware of the other team’s tendency’s until the second half. Our Oline cannot run block or pass block idgaf what pff says i know what i see which is us averaging maybe 3 yards a carry and pass pro holding up for a nano second. We have bad coaches and bad personnel. There is simply no gameplan for that. Its all on Ron too.

on either the first or second sack yesterday the screen to gibson was setup nicely, but for whatever reason Howell didn't throw the damn ball to him . . . would have been a big play.
