Re: The talk about anything cuz your up real late and tired of draft talk thread.
I was in an improv group in college. I thought it was intimidating when I started but it was a lot of fun.
I, ironically, feel more comfortable in front of big crowds. Like if I have to give a presentation to 5 people or 500 people then I'd rather be 500. So being on a stage always felt kind of relaxing to me. Plus it was a good change from playing sports the rest of the year.
I feel the exact same way. Take singing for instance. I've performed in front of hundreds, maybe thousands of people and felt totally at home. However, performing in front of my family totally racks my nerves. There is something about being in character though. You become someone else and that gives you a freedom to do things you wouldn't do as yourself. |

Yes, way deep. I love roles you can really sink your teeth into. Although, I can't write a tragedy to save my life. I only write comedy sketches. You ever do any writing? Based on the stuff you've written here, I would think you'd be very good at it. |

Not trying to pry into the conversation, well yes I am, but not in a rude fashion. I am more of the quick witted improv type. The only thing I know how to write is my name. Its time you should know, I have a pet monkey that does the keyboarding for me.

You ever do any writing? Based on the stuff you've written here, I would think you'd be very good at it.
I wrote a little play called The Merchant of Venice. No but seriously, a couple of one-acts in high school. More like half-acts, the plays were very short. I've been fortunate to play some pretty deep roles. A lot of pretty lecherous people. That was kind of my niche for a while. And now I'll bring it back to the Redskins. One time I did this play in college and this girl I knew was dating this guy at the time and came with her and his niece (or little cousin, something like that, she was like 6 years old or something). So anyhow, after the show everyone is outside saying "Good show" and all that stuff. And this guy walks up to me with this little girl and says "Hey, great job. She thought you were really funny and she was wondering if you'd sign her playbill" So how does that bring it back to the Redskins? The guy who basically asked me for my autograph? Redskins kicker (at the time) Scott Blanton. Never did I think I'd see the day I'd be the one signing something for a Redskin |

I would love to read them. Did you write them the summer you broke your leg and had to stay out of the pool? Do any of them feature a character named Viceroy Fizzlebottom? Found it.
