honestly i really don't think any changes need to be made in the coaching staff. i know i'm probably in the minority but bringing in yet another coach means more change and possibly more set backs. make lewis the oc and let him call the plays and let zorn keep game planning and working with jc and i think we're on our way. i'd keep blache if he wants to stay, if not then hire grey as dc and let's keep things stable.
From what I understand, Lewis has said he does not want to stay beyond this year. I think he said that even before all of this |

Signs point to Mike Shanahan becoming the Redskins' next team president and head coach. The Denver Post on Thursday reported Shanahan has been in discussions to join the Redskins. Yep you are 100% right. Lewis made that well known when he was hired this year. Maybe a shame though, because the offense is suddenly clicking so well. |

It seems that Allen signing is a sign that Shanahan is coming, too.

And since 1998 and not counting this season, the Redskins are 74 - 86, I''ll take that 17 win improvement thanks

Skins are 2-3 (.400) in the playoffs. My point was he isn't much better than the carousel that's been here. If we're starting over why not aim for better than mediocre? |

I hear it's hush money. DS just wants to keep Cerrato from flapping his gums. |
We don't have a 3rd rounder either
We do have a 3rd rounder. We used it already though. It was used on Jarmin. We got him early and he has playing time so he won't be a true rookie. Plus he actually looked good. Let him get healthy, build some more size and he will be a monster with Orakpo on the D-line. |

I am not thrilled by Shanahan, but he is an experienced Football professional ;). In all seriousness, even in Gibbs day we didn't win multiple playoff games every year, but we were always competitive and had a shot, and I think that's what Shanahan brings. Plus, we have a much better D for the next 3-5 years at least than Shanahan ever did. The main thing, is that it is a return to NFL normalcy and a hopeful indication that DS is learning to be a good owner and not as meddlesome. |
