Wouldn’t it be nice if we simply wouldn’t politicize everything? The tribalism in literally every facet of society isn’t good. Accepting the possibility of multiple factors, reasons, etc. I mean it was ridiculous how people, government and media reacted when this happened. |

All you do is jump on and point out liberal flaws and mistakes in the way they deal with everything, and now you're upset that everything is politicized? We didn't politicize the virus - COVID doesn't discriminate. Most liberals trust the science - a certain POTUS with an axe to grind didn't promote the vaccine until he was well off the presidential podium simply because some of his voters coincidentally also happen to be anti-vaccine nutjobs. |

Didn't threaten anybody's job or way of life - unless they're enough of a pussy to cry about wearing a mask. Illegal mandates? I couldn't give a shit less about a mandate. You're all for states rights until the state tries to force you to wear a mask or get a vaccine. The only industry I think should have a vaccine mandate is healthcare. We've been at this game for a long time now Chico, I can't remember a single time in history where a virus came along and started killing people and the thing that saved people's lives was politicized. |

One can argue that wearing a mask on a plane was (long before COVID), is and will always be a good idea. Forcing people to wear masks is a different argument all together and given current conditions a very weak argument at that. I get the impression from some that they would never want the mask mandate lifted and they gnash their teeth whenever a community or government entity lifts those mandates (I'm sure many of the same people griping about the airline mandate being lifted will scream when/if courts throw out Philadelphia's newly reinstated in door masking mandates). |

I think it was an act of major desperation. The mandate would have been lifted on May 1st. You mean the more lives it was saving but hey trump republican's don't give a shit about American lives ,why be surprised? |

As a republican, you must have some complaints about the democratic party, liberal judges, etc. I'd love to hear about a couple of those. You complain ad nauseum about republicans, we're all aware of your absolute disdain for your own party. Humor me, if you would. I'm sure even some democrats would like to hear some of your complaints about their party. If you're still a republican, you must have some, otherwise why are you still registered as a republican? You are totally allowed to switch parties. |

Trump-Appointed Judge Deemed ‘Not Qualified’ by Bar Association Voids Mask Mandate on Planes, Other Travel
https://news.yahoo.com/trump-appointed-judge-deemed-not-212748685.html A Trump-appointed Federal judge in Florida has voided a national mask mandate for airplanes and other transportation. “Wearing a mask cleans nothing,” U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle wrote in her decision on Monday. “At most, it traps virus droplets. But it neither ‘sanitizes’ the person wearing the mask nor ‘sanitizes’ the conveyance.” Mizelle, 35, was only eight years out of law school at University of Florida when Trump appointed her to the lifetime position in 2020. The Daily Beast noted at the time that her only trial experience was as an intern, and that she held four clerkships, including one for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Mizelle was rated “not qualified” by the American Bar Association prior to her appointment, citing her lack of experience. |
Re: Coronavirus (political)
LOL whoever said a mask cleans anything? My lord the simple concept of a mask has been so twisted it's insane.
Just insane that someone who is deemed "not qualified" can be ramrodded into a position. |

When I got it mid December last year, Howard County was having a major bloom and you couldnt get tested or an appointment anywhere. There was panic. We needed a negative test for my kid to see if she got it and if she go to school. Testing was over run. They sent us to Montgomery County, got there first thing in the morning and they were already booked. Howard County was over whelmed. ------------ What number would make you say the lockdowns were worth it? 2 millions americans dead? 5 million dead? Perhaps you quietly think that covid was a good thing as it culled our most costly but least producing members of society (old, obese, poor health)? ----------------- Wild to me that Americans can look back, see 1 million Americans dead ... and say we should have done less. How only 1 million dead became a political rallying cry. Liberal governors taking it serious? We must do the opposite!! |
