And that partisan gap — which didn't emerge until the widespread availability of vaccines in the spring of 2021 — has consistently widened over the last 5 months. The gap, according to the Times, accelerated at its fastest rate yet in October, coming out to 25 COVID deaths per 100,000 residents in counties where Trump won more than 60% of the vote, versus 7.8 deaths per 100k in counties where Biden did the same. A late October poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation's COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor found that 39% of Republican adults remain unvaccinated, while just 10% of Democratic adults said the same thing. |

I'm on a group chat with 3 of my best homies in the world. It's an even 2/2 split between conservatives and liberals. The other conservative guy who moved back to CO, sent a screenshot of a CA gas station charging like $5.50 a gallon, and this was verbatim, a response from one of my liberal buddies:
"Can't afford it, get out! It's how we're dealing with traffic. CA is horrible..." Him and his wife, I love them both, both work for the government and just bought a house worth over a million dollars. Caught me off guard that he said that, while basically getting rich off of working for the government, largely paid for by people he'd gladly have leave our state because they can't pay for it and all the other expenses in CA. |

"We may reach out to him and see if he'd be interested in helping the country in additional ways," Gaetz said of Rittenhouse. A jury is currently deliberating if Rittenhouse is guilty of five felonies, including first-degree homicide. Florida congressman Matt Gaetz said he thought Kyle Rittenhouse would make a good congressional intern and said he may contact him to make the job offer happen if he's "interested." In an interview on Newsmax on Wednesday, Gaetz spoke up in defense of Rittenhouse, saying he deserved a "not guilty" verdict even as a 12-person jury continues to deliberate the verdict. "He deserves a not guilty verdict, and I sure hope he gets it because you know what, Kyle Rittenhouse would probably make a pretty good congressional intern," Gaetz said. "We may reach out to him and see if he'd be interested in helping the country in additional ways." |

BRANDON, Fla. – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to sign a package of anti-COVID-19 vaccine mandate bills into law Thursday in Brandon, Florida – a thinly veiled jab at President Biden.
Earlier in November, DeSantis dubbed the Biden administration the "Brandon administration" during a press conference in Palm Beach. "The significance of signing this legislation in Brandon, Florida, is not lost on the governor," DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw said. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/29/business/economy/biden-infrastructure-deal.html How Biden Got the Infrastructure Deal Trump Couldn’t The early success of the deal vindicated the president’s faith in bipartisanship. If he can keep it on track, it will help affirm the rationale for his presidency. https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/why-biden-succeeded-infrastructure-trump-didn-t-n1283457 Why Biden succeeded on infrastructure (and Trump didn't) On infrastructure, Trump failed twice — first when he tried to pass his own plan, and then again when he tried to sabotage Biden's plan. It's easy to forget, but the former president was well positioned to succeed on infrastructure, which the Republican said was one of his top domestic priorities. But Trump just couldn't help himself. In the first two years of Trump's presidency, when his party controlled the House and Senate — by larger margins than Democrats enjoy now — the GOP focused its energies on unnecessary tax breaks and a hapless health care crusade that ultimately failed. After the 2018 midterm election cycle, which left the House in Democratic hands, there were still hopes that an infrastructure deal was possible, and Democratic leaders were prepared to make it happen. But as regular readers may recall, the then-president decided to attach some strings. In May 2019, however, according to Trump's own version of events, the Republican presented Democrats with an offer: The White House would work on infrastructure if Democrats agreed to stop investigating the then-president's many scandals. Democratic leaders, naturally, said that wasn't an option — they added, of course, that Congress can legislate and conduct oversight at the same time — at which point Trump abandoned the process. Two years later, the Republican settled on a different kind of idea: If he couldn't have an infrastructure deal, then Biden shouldn't get one, either. Indeed, Politico reported months ago that the former president was determined to "sabotage" the entire process: "Trump is trying to ensure that his successor, Joe Biden, suffers the indignity of the 'infrastructure week' jokes as well." Except, as it turns out, Biden is the one telling the infrastructure jokes, not the one at the receiving end of the jokes. |

But it is just easier to blame the left. That is ironic because it is the main reason he got nothing done. Too busy barking about his “enemies”. Trump tied everything back to Trump. Everything had to work out for him in the end and not the American people. Yet these fuckin yahoos continue to wave his flag and cry about the Dems! It is fucking moronic. |
