How did we so badly botch bringing RG3 back?
Were we that afraid to start Cousins?
RG3's team. If he wants to come back, he's coming back. I don't think KC had a snowball's chance in hell of starting. |

Yeah he give the assist to Kyle. Golden boy looking really bad this year. Rg3 checked it down a lot. He made a lot of bad decisions and poor throws. Fumbled snaps |
Showcase? Do you think it's possible he may be the starter here one day?
Hes delusional.. He thinks a guy who isnt half the QB that RG3 is going to fix the rookies in the secondary and the penalties. |

Not with out garbage secondary and garbage O-line. With our luck, I bet the Jags could beat us this year. ... Okay maybe we're not that bad. |
0-4 going into the bye. No way were winning on the road unless its the jags. Coming out of the bye our schedule is brutal minus two games against the giants. 4-12 is very very very realistic. If we finish with six or fewer in the w column major changes must be made.

Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Dude, too many of us in here almost thought of RG III as our savior. Shoot you had a man crush thread in here about the guy not so long ago. This guy will not pan out because his supporting cast is deficient, but he still was over hyped beyond belief. This guy is going to enter his contract year with probably a .500 record or less. JC was less than .500, while Gus hovered around .500. Are you going to pay the guy up the wazoo to renew? You needed DBs and O linemen, before the stud QB, now the stud QB isn't going to win you games, so what is the point of having a stud QB? Build from the lines outward. Next draft should be nothing more than defensive players and maybe one or two O linemen. It is obvious that one man isn't going to get the Skins back to the glory days. Defense wins titles, and our D sucks, and personally has to be rebuilt. If we go say 0-6 0-7 if we do lose in Oakland I would start Cousins just to see what he can do, and at the very least showcase him for a trade for draft picks if he does well, or maybe keep him. I am foreseeing a total overhaul on both sides of the ball in the offseason, and if that happens RG III might not be the man anymore.
Well I will agree, RG3 was over hyped, not only by every single person here, but the media as well. |
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
I'm so not wearing my RGIII Jersey to Oakland.....This team is flatout terrible

Ive got a few AC Coach of the Year trophies on my wall and u say the Skins are sucking it up in all phases of the game. If they lose to the Raidas next week......ug wonder what Danny boy is thinking .. |
