Lawrence Okoye at nearly 6-foot-6 and 304 pounds, Okoye ran the 40-yard dash in 4.78 seconds while posting a 10-foot-5 broad jump and a 35-inch vertical jump. Current holder of the British Record for Olympic discus is also an accomplished rugby player. Bottom line is he is a great athlete.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Is it just me or is the draft less interesting to everyone else around Redskin nation? I mean this should be my ideal draft. Nothing but grunts at the top. Usually my interest in the draft is no less then an 11 out of 10 and I could go at least 3 deep at every position except kicker, long snapper, and punter.
It's not like I don't have free time to read up on it but most of my free time seems to be reading up on politics (uhhhhh past me would beat the crap out of present me). Do I need to seek more professional help then usual or is the combination of unsexy positions at the top with no Redskins 1st round pick ramping down everyone elses interest? |

DJ Swearinger please.

The draft becomes more unpredictable as it goes on, so who knows what will happen even with our first pick. |

[quote=CultBrennan59;1002439]How I'd rate the CBs in the draft (w/out some of those obvious guys that will go clearly before we pick)
1. Johnathan Banks 2. Jamar Taylor 3. Jordan Poyer 4. BW Webb 5. Nickell Robey 6. Leon McFadden 7. Tyrann Mathieu 8. Darius Slay 9. Robert Alford 10. Tharold Simon Also heres the latest small school prospects list you should check out. I've read the jets are interested and he may not be there at 51, as a result. |

And he is going to be 25 with Crohn's disease. Banks I love. I don't give two craps that his forty sucks. If he can play and do well against the best than, he can play in the NFL as a CB. Darius slay he's solid but other than his name there's not much I like about him. Like I said I don't like any Uconn defenders, it's a system full of good to average players. Ill have to check out the app state kid |

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Speaking of Safeties; here's how I would rate the safeties that we could get
1. Matt Elam 2. Bacarri Rambo 3. DJ Swearinger 4. Eric Reid 5. Phillip Thomas 6. Duke Williams 7. Shamarko Thomas 8. Ray Ray Armstrong 9. TJ McDonald 10. Shawn Williams |

Even a blind Hogette could find a safety in this draft class. I like Tony Jefferson, even though his stock has fallen recently. JJ Wilcox has size and skills but he seems to need to be developed. He might be a solid pick in a later round. I suppose David Amerson will be drafted early as a CB but I really like the idea of him at FS as a pro. With his size (6-3, 205) and range, he could be outstanding at FS. Terry Hawthorne is considered to be a CB but I like the idea of him as a pro SS. He has good size (6-0, 194) and speed (4.4) and he's a great tackler, IMO. I might be the only guy around who's crazy enough to want to convert big, fast CB's into safeties. |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
They've shown more interest in Duke Williams than anyone else this off-season, including current NFL players.
They like Phillip Thomas a lot too, and Wilcox. Late round sleeper could be Bradley McDougald |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
I would give our draft grade a T for Trill if we came away with Poyer in the second and Duke Williams/Phillip Thomas in the 3rd.

We'd be lucky if he fell to us in the 3rd round. I think he'd be a reach in the 2nd. |

Phillip Thomas I like a lot but I gave Eric Reid the slight advantage over him since he play in the SEC and didn't suffer a major foot injury. I've heard of McDougald w/ the Redskins before; he's a safety from Kansas. I wouldn't mind him late in the draft. |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
David Amerson (DB) of NC State and Phillip Thomas safety from Fresno St. are visiting us according to Chris Russell.
