The Mason Dixon line is bullshit. It was a survey by the British to determine which nobles owned which land. It was later perceived falsly by Americans as the Boundary between the north an the south (later to be proven wrong) Maryland was not a confederate state and neither was West Virginia (both below the line). Not to revisit the past, but if I were to fight in the Civil War today I would be with the Union and not with the confederacy. I think that it is funny how people can try to classify what is in your heart by placing a boundary on the ground.

I have no accent, I do not hold stock in NASCAR. I do not fit in with the GA Boyz. I appreciate some the the Classical Victorian traditions. I like to eat southern and soul food. I do not go to pubs, I go to a bar. I dont drink Coke or Pop. I drink Soda. It is called a Car not a Ca. I do not own nor will I ever own a Pickup truck. I have never milked a cow shot soda cans off of a fence or owned a home with wheels on it.

After spending alot of time in the south and going through pretty much what you are going through right now. I resent the south. I never really fit in. Southern Hospitality my ass. I was an outcast, not one of the Good ol boys. I was raised as an Army brat. I do not see race or color because of a good upbringing. When I was living in the south as an adult it opened my eyes to see what in the hell was really going on.

I have shot cans off a fence, I own a pickup truck (a big one with a special edition engine too) I like southern food, although there is nothing like good homemade italian food and chinese food. I love NASCAR, and I love my Red Sox..l miss my pub! I am an american. The civil war ended long before any of my ancestors came to this country.

I love Italian food especially Baked Ziti. NASCAR is growing on me. I am an Orioles fan. I like Pubs, but I still call it a bar. My tree is too big to find out which sides of the family were here for that war and which ones weren't.

Good. Saw Transformers with some friends. Then met up with more friends to see some AA baseball. It was a doubleheader. We were going to stay for both and then the fireworks afterward. But toward the end of the first game it started pouring.

So I just came home. Rain cleared up enough for me to see some fireworks from my balcony but it's pouring again

Sounds like you had a good day. I saw no fireworks this evening, but I can hear them going off around the neighborhood. They will be going off all night unfortunately. Stupid people around here forget most of us have to work tomorrow.
