You really have to see it. And even if you don't like it at first you should watch it multiple times to really appreciate it. This should be Man Law.

It's a really good movie but there's only 3 movies that should qualify as required viewing for a Man Law: [I]Aliens[/I], [I]Predator[/I] and [I]Conan the Barbarian[/I].
All other movies watched after these core movies are considered electives.

My biggest problem with putting [I]Aliens[/I] on that list is that the main character is a woman. She ends up saving everyone.

I would replace it with something along the lines of [I]Bloodsport[/I].

...um...that may be the first time I've ever considered putting someone on my Ignore list.

I do consider Bloodsport to be top elective movie, though.
