Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
That missed field goal would've made this a two score game, just saying.
You can blame who ever you want, but this is a complete s@&t show all around. This is not a coaching problem. This started with a miscue by Morris, miscues by Robert, and terrible field position. As much as I hate to say it iii is not close to the same player as last year. He is going to take some time to get back. I didn't think he would be this far behind.
Agree, the Redskins lost as a team, coaching staff included. There is no way to blame 1 player or coach. I'll take our playoff chances at 0-1 over 3-6 any day of the week. Still plenty of time to get the rust out for RGIII and the rest of the boys to mentally lock in. Winning isn't easy. |

Even with the turnovers, penalties, bad throws, etc? Right, all on the coaches. |

You know something's a little off when you let a college coach absolutely destroy you with playcalling. I know they had at least some idea of Kelly's style of play. |
Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
Skins win 35 - 33 , as Brunell hits Moss for two TD's in 4th !!!!! Oh , errrrrr Griffin throws the TD/s

It doesn't have to mean you were out coached, or that you had no heart, or weren't ready, or were over confident. Sometimes you just get your butt kicked.
Anything can happen on any given Sunday(Monday). I think many of us were at least expecting a competitive game, and got a stinker of a game. As for the coaching, yes that does have something to do with it. The coaches main job during the week is to prepare the game plan and to work on practicing the execution of it. Sure you can't coach your QB throwing a couple picks, but if your team looks slow coming out of the gate, then there has to be blame with the coaching. In the previous posts that I did rant about the coaching, I didn't mean Shanny didn't want to win, but Kelly has something more to prove, just being a rook, and that he belongs. In short Chip might be playing with a chip on his shoulder. Shanny is a rich man and already won 2 SBs, he doesn't have so much to prove anymore. He is comfortable. |

We could still score 3 TDs. It'd be deus ex machina, but it could happen. |

I hope they come back and win so I can give many of guys a bunch of shit

I disagree. Skins were really freaking rusty and unprepared - I dont ever want to know why, but these last two drives resulted in what would have been 10 points if Kai hadnt missed, and I think we are going to be as good as I thought we were. I guess what Im trying to say is we are going to be who I thought we were going to be. |

Right, all on the coaches.
Never said it was only coaching. But there is no way I can look at a 33-14 game and say the coaches had no responsibility in the loss. It was many things that caused this ugly game... Coaching included. By the way the game isn't over. Just saying |
It's not just the off folks we have given up almost 200 yards rushing to McCoy. And Rambo is slow as shit

He seems like a Doughty type. Good in the box, not so good out in the open. But I feel like he might get an INT or two this year. |
Another god damn ****ing penalty. We will NEVER be a contender with this continuous bullshit penalties we keep occurring.
It's the terrorists, I tell you! I'm not going to take this game as an indication of how we'll play for the rest of the season. RG3 will be his old self against Green Bay; Alfred Morris will once again be slicing and dicing defenses; and the defense will shut Aaron Rodgers down. Every team will bow before the mighty force that is Washington! Don't feel bad for your confidence, JoeR. Even if you were wrong, it's better than being so negative. |
