Well, hopefully I'll remember this conversation come January and then say...I told you so...but with a little more tact. :D |

I got an idea, we will make it a point to track Moss's numbers all season and talk about it right here on this thread. Then you do not have to use any tact. |

haha, sounds good to me...I doubt this thread will still be around. While I stay up late now, come Thursday, my ass will be in bed at around 10-10:30pm every night. Come monday I'll be starting my training in Albuquerque for two weeks. I'll be back for the weekend, but I will not be able to post at all from the 7th-21st. |

That's true. I wonder if we'll remember it. |

yes he is |
Re: Patriots' passing game: great or not?
With all the WR's and TE's the Pats have now (Wes Welker, Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, Reche Caldwell, Chad Jackson, Kelly Washington, Ben Watson, Kyle Brady) it is pretty apparant that they will run a west coast offense next year. But my question is did they overdo it? Do they have too much talent? All their WR's are at least quality 3rd spot WR's, 2 are 1 spot quality, 2-3 are 2 spot quality, and 1-2 iare 3 spot quality. How will everyone be happy? How will the ball be shared? This did not work well for the Skins or for the Seahawks last year when both of us loaded up on WRs. I know Bellicheck is a genius, but I dont know how this offense system will work out.
Kyle Brady is the one we need to watch out for. :cheeky-sm  |

yeah he is a beast |
Re: Patriots pass game great or not?
I actually dont like the Moss pickup. He has a tendency to not run as hard when the play is not designed to go to him. With this amount of talent, he will not get the ball that much and therefore will not give it his all barely ever. He will have a bad attitude and will complain about not getting the ball enough which will create negative team chemistry. I thought the Pats had a perfect WR corps for Brady before Moss was brought in.
With Moss only playing full speed every few plays he is close to breaking allot of NFL records. |

He's a future HOFer. |
Re: Patriots' passing game: great or not?
I'm glad they are not in our division. if they get Moss happy, they will be dangerous. I heard on ESPN, Moss ran a 4.29, 40 yard last week.

Re: Patriots' passing game: great or not?
again, a totally different system. How can you explain Brady's very nice passing stats over the past 4 years, but the fact that no one stood out as a WR?
03- 3620 yards 04- 3692 yards 05- 4110 yards 06- 3529 yards He threw for well over 4000 yards in 05 and STILL didn't produce a 1000+ yard WR.
Brady is good. I think thats the best explination. |
Brady is good. I think thats the best explination.
The explanation is that he has a great system, and loves to spread the ball. More teams should follow this concept instead of forcing it to one guy. |
