Re: Area 51
You know honestly, i kind of liked the nickname Area 51. Nick Names are fun.
I'm all for nicknames when you prove something. The hogs, the posse etc all deserved nicknames, but the key is, they proved themselves first. We want to live in the glory days so badly that we come up with nicknames too quicky...the nickname doesn't make the group, the talent does. PS- I thought it was stupid to nickname the OL the dirt bags when they did nothing, but at least they have earned it to this point...I think it's stupid to nickname our safeties the bash bro's, and I was right...and now I think it's stupid to nickname the newest safety combo. They need to earn it. |
Re: Area 51
If they both make the pro bowl I will call them area 51

area 51 is not a bad nickname honestly. I think it isn't too bad because it represents the "area" behind the linebackers which is no man's land where the feared Landry and Taylor lurk. You dont want to enter Area 51 because you might not come out alive. I think its not that bad. Pass it on to the organization lol. |

Oh come on, nick naming our safety tandem! Whats next, some guy from the forum naming his son Tyler Daniel just so that he can nick name him TD, with aspirations that one day he will grow up and play professional football in the NFL, become a perinial Pro Bowler, and one day get inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, then retiring and becomming an analyst on NFL Total Access then goes on to an illustrious coaching career leading the Skins to 4 SuperBowls while simotaneously making Ace Hardware, Gatorade, UnderArmor, and Viagra commercials? Get real! That's just silly! |
Re: Area 51
Ya see, that's the great thing about Area 51!!!!! No one really knows what goes on in the real Area 51, if there is sucha thing. Just like no one really knows how Taylor and Landry are gonna play this year, IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE!!!!!!!!!

Re: Area 51
How about we call Sean Taylor "James Westfall," and Laron Landry "Dr. Kenneth Noisewater."
When teamed together they form "The Octagon." |
