I don't think he was classless guys. He didn't put down our team he just is delusional about how good his team is right now. He thinks they're great and should be beating everyone, not just us. Hell he even said they should have beaten the pokes. He is simply delsuional about his team. I hate Bill Parcels but he said the truest thing ever in the history of sports "You are what your record says you are".

I don't see anything wrong with McNabb's comments. Philly is a good team, and they are well coached. They should have beaten us, given the game was in Philly.

I do have a problem with this quote, however:

"...there is no way that this team is better than us."

After winning in Philly, it is clear that we are better.

What he should have said was "we're a better football team than the way we played the last two weeks".

What he actually said was just cracksmoke, since we manhandled them for 3 quarters and dominated on both sides of the ball, on the stats sheet and the scoreboard, in pretty much every possible metric. And like someone else pointed out, they got two big breaks in the form of bad ref calls (on the Jackson return and ARE's phantom whistle after not getting touched).

Maybe some TO rubbed off on Donovan, because his comments had a strong whiff of whiny bitch.

I'm willing to give Donovan the benefit of the doubt. He's usually been classy in the past, but he seems delusional. I would be more pissed if this was a prepared statement, but it seems it might have been heat of the moment (although I didn't see him make it), and he might not have conveyed what he was trying to say.

As far as the Eagles fans, let's just say they have VERY "understated elegance." (I can't stand them.)

true story. was at the Linc 2 years ago. decked out in all kinds of skins gear. walking in, passed to cops walking in the other direction. stopped them, and ask them where they would be, in case i needed them. they looked me square in the eye and said " fuck you, your on your own" and both walked away laughing. does that answer your question?
