now here's a man with some sensibility. i applaud u, sir.

we should re-sign evans, use a late draft pick on a DE (like we did for rob jackson last year) and then wait until next year to seriously address DE. taylor hardly did anything for us last year so we'll basically have what we had on the d-line last year, plus haynesworth.

trade the 13th pick for some later picks and go o-line and linebacker.
That's the first thing I thought of, re-sign our guy. I wonder if they burned a bridge there when they already issued AH #92. That said a lot, doesn't look like they had any intention of talking to evans even. I'm sure he feels slighted.

And I bet every one of their agents are calling Vinny explaining how his guy is dying to wear B & G!!!
I think Evans, Willis and Hunter the Punter are real good candidates.

I wish they would have done this before the Giant signed Canty.

I wish we had done this a few days ago so we could of gotten Canty, but oh well WE HAVE TO RESIGN D EVANS, and now we can also get Angelo Crowell...and the punter hunter smith

Basically he would not come in 3 days a week for 8 weeks? Bye-bye.
Why didnt we try to trade Taylor?
The league wouldn't let the Skins trade with themselves.

Re: Jason Taylor Released

I thought getting JT was a good idea at the time. I think its hard to say what might have happened since he was hurt all year and the Skins had him playing on what was the wrong side of the line for him. I think had JT been healthy and playing where he was used to playing things would have turned out better. JT needed to give a little and it appears that he wouldnt so I dont blame the Skins for letting him go.
