Here is my own personal boycott:
The Skins are no longer must see TV for me on Sundays. Last weekend the wife and I took a road trip to go visit friends and see their kid play Pee Wee football. They won 27-6 so at least I saw some winning football. It was the first Redskins game I've missed in years and honestly I really didn't care. |

His ego is the root of the problem. Fire Vinny, and bring in a respected, up and coming football executive to build this team the right way. I've been a huge admirer of the Philly way. They always seem to have 10 draft picks every year, and they build quality depth on both lines. The one year that Snyder had 10 draft picks, he selects 3 receivers in the 2nd round, and only ONE offensive lineman (Rinehart) out of 10 picks. |

In business, you look up to persons who are successful in the business you are in. If you are in sales you model your business after those who are the best at what they do. You pick a mentor. When you want to build a great football organization you look at teams that have a great organization such as Pitts, Balt, NYG, Indi. You hire people that come from those great organizations, like a Polian or his son. We all have talked about this for years, but maybe DS will finally come around if it starts hurting his wallet. My wife and I have some friends going to the Denver game. We were considering going but i asked her, Do you feel like spending 12 hours and $500+ to see 14 pts scored? We decided to go to a Caps game instead. |

The wife would be thrilled if I used my Sundays for a family outing or to address items on her honey-do list. When even the wins are unfulfilling, you have to question whether there is ANY value in watching this team. I believe that I'll follow your lead - thanks Matty. |
Yeah I doubt Rush gets anywhere near owning a team. He's too controversial and not the PR move the NFL wants to deal with.
Rush, of course, wouldn't be the majority owner (I don't think) and technically I don't think the Rams are even officially for sale. All that said though, if the NFL can keep Howard Milstein from owning the Redskins I don't see how they couldn't keep Rush away from the Rams |

The rest of the season has been all "on-demand" after the fact. Gotta take advantage of the weather up here before it gets too cold to step outside. I'll watch the Monday night game against the Eagles live, other than that I don't see them fitting into my schedule. The times they are a changing |

Watching games on TV (espically Fox) is not the greatest experience in the world anymore. They went fishing for much of the first half of Sunday's game. |

I mean, if they don't care enough to put a quality product on the field, i don't care enough to carve time out of my schedule to watch it. It's just a team playing just a sport. Ambivalence is what they should be fearing. |
Re: is there a way that we the fans can be heard???
I am not judging anyone who is finding better use of their time then watching this terrible team. But I can't turn away...I have to see every second live. I don't know why either...if I tried to do something else I would just obsess about whats going on in the game. I don't agree with most of what they do...every other thing i write on here is about how much I can't stand Snyderatto yet I just can't stop watching.

Unfortunately I was back at the bar for the panthers game last sunday- can't seem to shake it, but its a start. Isn't there a site we could start? I had a buddy that started a fireisiah.com (isiah thomas) site a few years back- not sure it did any good, but... There is already a poorly run "firevinny.com" or something like that...i don't know. Im with matty here, think of it as having your sunday's (and mental health back). |

Re: is there a way that we the fans can be heard???
Honestly though, even if they were 5-0 right now I'm not sure my approach would be much different. I have things to do with my life. I've been through the whole dedicate your entire weekend to the Redskins (more than many here), but like I said I've got things to do, places to be, people to see.
