3-4 base with a 4 man front at times.. you've still got a 3-4 line and positioning, but you'll line someone up outside, Shanahan and Haslett have been a lot more clear about it lately

Haven't been able to confirm Smoot/Betts releases, but both of those guys are potentially obvious choices for release.

I suppose thats the smart thing to do. Considering the money we're paying him, as GM said, if he can even be somewhat productive, we should keep him. Its hard to imagine him not earning a roster spot with his play, but i feel he should be cut at the first sign of trouble.

anyone think sellers will be cut?

But it looks like right now, the RB depth chart is Portis, then Alridge/Mason behind him. Ganther nontendered (he's the one I forgot), and Rock/Betts will be gone tomorrow.
