Re: Where does D. Hall rate as a CB for the Redskins all time?
Gtripp, I agree with u that both Wilson and hall having similar playing styles-- which can create problems when opposing offenses attack deep because theres only one free safety that can help over top. But I still think that there's a chance that this defense can be successful despite that. There needed to be changes from the bend but don't break philosophy of past redskins d to hasletts philosophy. And part of that was letting go players like Rogers.
And the play with Evans burning hall- hall still had good coverage on Evans. It was just a problem because if hall knew he wasn't going to have safety help - he NEEDS to jam the receiver at the line. |

Who played opposite of Darrel Green in the 80s and early 90s Superbowl teams. Does anyone remember without looking it up? I cannot.

Your idea of "good" and my idea of good are completely different. http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/41838-football-outsiders-worst-rated-cbs-nfl.html D. Hall continues to write checks with his mouth that his play doesn't back up. |

Not at this stage. No. |
Re: Where does D. Hall rate as a CB for the Redskins all time?
So then you think we're better off with the second worst CB in the league?

Currently with what's available to us. Yes. I wouldn't be surprised if CB isn't a issue addressed next draft in the higher rounds. |

Yes. Yes I can. Why do you ask? |
Re: Where does D. Hall rate as a CB for the Redskins all time?
Well Green played a lot of years, so there was more than one corner playing opposite him.
|
Re: Where does D. Hall rate as a CB for the Redskins all time?
I'm pretty sure it was Vernon Dean (San Diego State) that played opposite Green.
|
Re: Where does D. Hall rate as a CB for the Redskins all time?
And Anthony Washington...and Brian Davis...and Martin Mayhew...and AJ Johnson...and Tom Carter...
