I assume this was talked about in another thread...but has anyone corrected ESPN and told them that London Fletcher is tied with manning in games played in a row and his not like 50 behind. Or behind Ronde Barber...

Come on SmootSmack, what kinda organization are you running over there?!?!
I didn't look at the numbers, but something felt a bit off. They both came in the league in 1998.

Where did they say that? Send me a link

And many reasons for shutting down the ESPN Zones

So there's consecutive starts and consecutive appearances.

Fletcher has 208 consecutive appearances, which leads the NFL.
However, Ronde Barber has 184 consecutive starts, Fletcher has 167.

Tampa fans are anointing Barber as the new Iron Man.

I heard the same thing on ESPN yesterday. If Fletch is the leader give the man his credit.

I just heard on 980am that WNDE in Indy is claiming a source has said he already had the second procedure on Sunday or Monday and is likely out for the season. Sorry no link, literally heard it 2 minutes ago on the radio.

Re: Report: Peyton Manning Needs 2nd Neck Surgery

The Indiana radio host that broke the story @jakequery is now reporting that Manning had a third procedure either Sunday or Monday and may be out for the season. Nothing confirmed so it's, at best, hearsay for the time being.

GMScud and 12th FTW!

Seriously though, if Manning is out for the year, top 10 draft pick imo.

Peyton Manning is doing just fine people. He's up and eager to play his first game next week. I do not lie.

I spoke to an unnamed source here this morning who you've seen in your living room (on the tv) and he said he heard this morning no sooner than 6 weeks...out for the season would be something else

craziness ... talk about a franchise that has not dealt with anything but a stud QB for the past decade + ... welcome to our world

Possible. They do have talent in other areas, if it's Painter or Collins throwing the ball they'll have Wayne and Clark to throw to, but their offensive line isn't that good. Defense should be about the same, but we all know they have a middle of the pack defense with great bookend rushers. But if people think qb play will hold us back this season, they need not look any further than the Colts. A fresh off the street Collins is probably just as bad as as a crappy Painter. Colts should've invested in a quality backup quarterback.

Wouldn't it be something if he missed the season, the Colts lose 13 games an land the #1 pick.... And get Andrew Luck...
