Man, I'm glad you aren't running this ball club. That is unless your explicit purpose of giving him a contract was to pick up balls during and after practice and fill up the cups of Gatorade on game day...


On second thought, those balls would probably still stand a good chance of taking a funny hop and getting by him just like all those WR have!

I don't know if I want another player that has a history or drug-related suspension or another safety with health concerns.

i want a real playmaker safety on the team, sign him to a 1 year deal, hopefully he has turned it around and is growing up hes still young.

We're in definite need of some improvement at safety!! I would bring anyone w/ potential into camp oh...wait...we don't have the cap room :(

I agree. I'm really not sure if the Redskins improved at the safety positions this offseason. Atogwe gets released and Landry goes to FA and signs with the New York Jets. In their place, the Redskins sign Brandon Meriweather and Madieu Williams. I like the addition of Williams, but Meriweather has shown so much inconsistency in his game for the past couple of seasons despite going to two pro bowls.

I know you didn't want him, but we sure as hell got him lol. For better or worse he's ours now. We'll see where this goes though, especially with his questionable history.

Nice, I thought the boat had sailed on him but I'm glad that at the very least we are adding multiple options/possibilities at safety.
