Yeah, but those 3 guys were some of their best. Like you said, it depends how deep you want to cut. I hope the Redskins aren't forced to dig that deep.
I disagree with that. Abraham is older and is not playing with as much disruption as he used to. Michael "The Burner" Turner lost his middle name. He is slow and not very productive now. Daunta Robinson is 30 and is third best on the team behind Brent Grimes (who they are trying to resign) and Asante Samuel. They are by far not the best players on their team. |

when someone says its not about the money, its always about the money.
Look at Flacco's press conference… He was asked if it was about the money. He said it wasn't about the money. It was about respect. And he felt he was worth more than that. (Isn't that about the money then Joe???) |

Re: Redskins Free Agents
Couple of thoughts, not worth a new thread, but things I am thinking as a Skins fan:
I would think that there has to be some Skins news today or tomorrow. Between having to be under the cap, and the new pre FA agent-team talking, the FO has to have a slew of moves they will be announcing in a brief span. And this has to have been one of the quietest lead up to FA by a Skins FO since DS has owned the team. I think that is a good thing, but certainly the penalty has kept us out of the spotlight too. FA starts in 5 days and it seems like any court action (re:penalty) is now extremely unlikely. I would love to be a fly on the wall in BA's office for the next few days! |

Re: Redskins Free Agents
Per NFL.com we plan on retaining Davis
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents
We have to keep Davis. I just fear that another team, like Cleveland, will pay him more than we can. If I'm Davis I'm going where the money is. Can anyone blame him?
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents
If Davis wants to chase the money let him.
If he's at all interested in winning Cleveland would be one of the last spots to pick. In the end I think he stays here. |
HTTR24-7.com @HTTR24_7
Cap is crazy.. Most have #Redskins at $3.4 million over. NFL has Redskins at $2.9 million under.

Rich Tandler @Rich_TandlerCSN @HTTR24_7 And as of this morning no restructures have been filed with the NFL. Strange indeed.
It's probably just NFL.com getting it wrong, but sure would be nice if their numbers are correct. |

I figured it out. Danny made a secret deal with the devil to get the $18 mil wiped out. |
