Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
Jammer is visiting the Redskins tonight per Mr. Paulsen. My man HTTR24-7 brought up the possibility back in March
Wait are you and httr friends? ...or are you even the same person?! I think I just figured out the mystery! |
Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
Is Jammer a good cb. Looks like he has been a rock solid starter that never gets hurt. On another note, I saw Maurice Hurt on Redskins nation and he looks like he has gained at least 40 pounds. Looked like a 370 pound man.

Jammer was really good in his prime but I believe he's in his mid30s now. I'm sure he's still pretty good

I'd see Jammer at FS

Yep. You left out that we have interest in Corey Lynch too |

I didn't leave it out. Just not bringing it up until there's something more concrete to that, at least until I get something more concrete |
Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
Wouldn't we have to cut someone to sign him? The consensus cut seems to be j. Wilson, so I wouldn't say that really nixes a need for cb early in the draft.
Sheez I hope not; Josh Wilson > Jammer. |
Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
I dont see them getting Corey Lunch. We have three guys like him on our team now. Doughty, pugh and Gomes.

Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
hall at safety was/is a massive fail. i doubt that's in the current planning.

And all 3 of them are still not as good as him. If you watch his highlights, you see he's actually a lot better than any DB we have here. He can catch and is smart. Plus he and Bruce Allen were together in Tampa. |

Jammer played safety in college @ Texas. He could probably still play corner as an insurance but he'd be a better fit @ safety this point in his career much like Charles Woodson. |

I like safeties that can hit more than safeties that can cover. The average corner in the NFL is between 175-205 pounds. Safeties are a little bulkier. I wouldn't want no corner playing safety unless he's aging and packs on a little more muscle and weight. |
Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
hmmmm....Its getting crowded back there at CB. Hall to safety on a more permanent basis...or does Wilson get cut? I wouldnt let Wilson go, he's the best corner on the team right now.
Wha wha? Has there been a rumor about cutting Wilson? |

He's our most expensive DB at $5.3 million. He may be our ''best DB,'' but thats like saying he's a piece of crap that doesn't smell the worst; he's still crap. |
Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
Iv'e said this before and I'll say it again....I really think not having a NFL starting competent safety made our corners look worse than they were. I'm not saying we have lockdown pro bowl corners but I really think with an actual starting NFL safety it helps our corners out a lot and improves our defense immensely improves our defense.
