We win and score 45 and people r talking shit about Griffin.
I thought he was gonna choke after that INT but he turned in a hell of a game. Can't point fingers at him this game. The defense and special teams on the other hand....... |
Re: Skins vs Bears postgame
I've watched football for a number of years and I'm still not sure what a pretty win is.

Re: Skins vs Bears postgame
Lol. People are still hating on Griffin after him and the rest of the offense carried us today? The defense played great when Cutler was in there and then let McCown become the next backup qb to look great against us when Cutler went down. Amazing.

Re: Skins vs Bears postgame
So is Shanny and the front office gonna address is special teams issue or bury their heads in the sand?
|
Re: Skins vs Bears postgame
I recorded the game and just got finsihed watching it.Hard to get a good read on the game because Im fast forwarding a lot.RG3 looked pretty good from what I could tell,he had the 1 int,but for the most part his passes were pretty crisp and his accuracy looked a lot better than last week.Need to stop the dropped passes and I wish they'd mix Helu in the mix some more.Defense looked good early but fell apart after Cutler went out.I think we win by more if Cutler stays in,he was not on his game today, even when he wasnt pressured his passes were off.
Cant believe we gave up another td on special teams, unbelievable |

He better do that with the defense too, how can a backup QB run like Steve Young all over the field and make plays? McCown hasn't done shit his whole career, today the skins D made him look like an all pro. |

What are they going to do at this point? There's no special teams aces sitting on the street or some genius coach who can fix things overnight. |

But last week the defense held Dallas to just over 200 yards. This is a flawed team. One week the offense might carry the team and vice versa. Remember, as up and down as the defense has been, they scored AGAIN today. |

No need for anyone to hate on RG3 today. He made his share of mistakes but he sure made a ton of plays today. I just wish they would stop running him so much. |
There was a game against detroit i remember - around 2007? I know we scored 40 something.
Edit: only scored 34. I guess it has become a fish story to me / lol
in 1999 We beat the Giants 51-21 Bad Brad Johnson |

Reed will be ok by next weekend. The guy's a tough customer. |

This is exactly what I'm talking about, inconsistency and lack of adjustment. After 4 years of this type of D, a change is needed. They have the talent, are healthier than last year and yet look worse. I know London is showing his age but others need to step up. Last year, Orakpo, Neild, Carriker were gone for the year after the second game. This year they have depth with Tapp, Brandon Jenkins, Meriweather is healthy (he's a liability), got better corners and S ( same as last year). It would be nice to get Tanard Jackson back to help in that area. |

Things are not bad enough to fire anyone (yet). Players and coaches need to figure things out and play more consistent period. |

First thing they need to do is add some speed at KR. Paul and Morgan struggle to get the ball past the 20 yard line. We need to figure out if Chris Thompson can help us or not. he looked good in preseason but we gave up on him, not sure what Morgan brings to the table that Thompson doesn't. It's sad to think that we can't get a return past the 20. |
