They have had below average to terrible linebackers, mediocre secondary, and a mediocre DC their entire time here.
Plus Chase has missed so much time. I pray that we fix those areas while these guys are in their prime so we can see them at their full capabilities. I think the yards and points we give up because of our weaknesses on D really overshadow what they are doing instead of highlighting it.
BS excuse Punch. I dealt with a shit owner for twenty years hasn't stopped me from bringing my A game every Sunday.

Lol.
The D line does bring their A game. But the 30 points and chunk yardage we give up overshadows it. My opinion of JDR is plummeting with every game we play.

Re-watch the game 14 points were due to Forbes, D actually played well except for the Forbes mistakes and JSW had Hurts sacked but escaped and scrambled for 30 yards. Special teams coverage was ass and gave the eagles good field position. Game is on NFL network right now, just started.

Keim did mention that he's concerned about some miscommunications within the DL and not being disciplined with rush lanes. He did mention that the defense has done a good job against the run. The problem is that they are giving up big plays. He said something along the lines of giving up 11 plays of 25+ yards in the past 4 games, which is how they ended the season last year.

JDR is the most vanilla, old, un-imaginative fossil possible.

I still havent seen the d line run more than one stunt, delayed rush or anything creative in the past decade, JDR or no JDR lmfao

sigh.

Let me ask you this. How often do JDR and RR head over to Carmine's on 7th, share a plate of spaghetti and reenact the scene from Lady and the Tramp?

Good read on the Bears receiver issues featuring a legendary quote from blast-from-the-past WR Muhsin Muhammed. He said Chicago is where receivers go to die. 15 years later and it's still true lol.

I don't have anything against the Bears but I hope they have the worst game tonight. Would love for our defense to get its' shit together against Chicago.

Shit - Dick Butkus just passed away. Apart from the fact that he was an amazing player, the Bears might have a little extra motivation tonight.

Another legend RIP

My biggest concern is the public $ coming in on the skins side. Vegas is usually right
We “should” win by 20. I just have this terrible feeling our vaunted front four is going to be pedestrian again and Justin Fields is going to look like an NFL quarterback for the first time. Herbert is going to look like Walter Payton. Moore is going to go full Jerry Rice. Our o line is going to make their D look like the 85 Bears.

Like Chico said, I want complete domination. This is a home game. This is year 4 under Ron. They are the worst team in football. Yet I am nervous. I should not be nervous. If this team is actually better than last year we should beat the snot out of them. Forbes needs to worry about not giving up huge plays instead of making a huge play.
I went full nostradamus here. Fire the fuck out of someone tomorrow Josh. We will love you for it.
