Re: What's your pet peeve?
No gotcha guys, I didn't realize it was harmless ball bustin'. Offiss has enough "opponents" on this board that I thought you guys were serious and someone else already attacked me in this thread and they were serious.
This one is for all the parents:
When your little one accidentally kicks you in the nuts when you pick them up. My son always puts his legs out like he is trying to pick up speed on a swing.
I've got a 6-month old, she's a little too wee of a tyke to be kicking nards yet, but I'll be sleeping on my couch and the dog will walk up and try to lay down on me. If I'm sleeping on my back, 9 times out of 10 I get a paw right in the nards. Talk about a rude awakening. |
I really cant stand it when lazy ass people cant even pronounce the simplest of words like ASK! They usually are to lazy and just say AX or AKS. Stupid ass people.:censored:
The word "something" usually comes out "sompen". GOD THAT GETS ON MY NERVES!!! What is your pet peeve?
You're right. That is rediculous. My pet peeve is when people misspell "ridiculous". |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
Or people who mispell Sean Springs and Shawn Taylor. ;)

Re: What's your pet peeve?
You know, I've never been a fan of the term "pet peeve". It's either "I like ..." or "I don't like ...". Pet peeve just sounds kind of feminine to me. I guess men who use the term "pet peeve" is a pet peeve of mind.
Now I have to go watch Conan the Barbarian or Predator, twice (at least). |

And by people you mean women? j/k :) a little joke that fits in with the thread. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
Women always have their minds made up, it's the exact opposite of whatever their boyfriends advise. My girlfriend always comes to me to ask me questions like "what pants should I wear," or "should I have the chicken or the pork?" She's totally undecided and the second I recommend something, she decides upon the exact opposite. So, I guess that's another pet peeve of mine.....don't ask me a question, especially a dumb one, if you aren't going to actually take my advice.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
how about, i aint got time to bleed
|
Re: What's your pet peeve?
HAHA! Awesome, Predator transcends all generations. You could walk into freaking Ethiopia and say that and they'd all respond by saying some shit like, "CIA got you pushin' too many papers!"

Anytime I see a helicopter I say that, usually nobody gets it but that's ok. |

it amazes me that three of the people in that movie ran for governer and two actually won

I swear on my 1900+ posts that I didn't look anything up. Conan: You don't even have a rope. Predator: This stuff'll make you gotdam sexual Tyranosaurus...just like me. |

I forgot about that one. The two scenes that stick out most vividly are: (1) when Dillon and Arnie meet and flex their biceps; and (2) when the Indian dude cuts himself across his chest with a machete. |

LOL LOL!!! The only drug that makes me a sexual tyrannosaurus is ecstacy and porn.
Could porn be my antidrug? |

Yup. It's funny how much you can learn about a culture/society based on movies. There's no way an action movie today would have that line. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
But they should. Die Hard was the best of all.

I don't remember any lines from Die Hard that were "off-color." |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
The first Die Hard was pretty good...was there ever a man more typecast than Reginald VelJohnson?
|
Re: What's your pet peeve?
I'm the same way. So here's what you do. You pull in front of them and slow down to the point where they are getting fairly close to you, almost tailgating, THEN you turn on your wiper fluid for like 5 minutes. Sure, it might waste a lot of fluid, but you're causing them a nice annoyance as well. This works GREAT on people who drive like jackasses and obviously care a lot for their car because it REALLY messes up a freshly washed ride.
Schneed and I are great antagonizers.
Another good one is a game I call pace car. It's where someone cuts you off, generally drives like an idiot, whatever... and you get in front of them on two lane highway and drive exactly the same speed as someone in the right lane. I did this to some jackass in a F-150 the other day and I got to watch the son of a bitch flip out for 10 miles. Ah, it's the little things in life that make you happy... |

Whenever we want to be really obnoxious when laughing at something stupid, like a "you're momma" joke, we'll mimic the Predator's laugh that he copied from the Indian dude. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
Dumb ass threads about specific events in the upcoming season. It is f*cking 3 weeks before the draft. How the hell anyone has anything other than a total guess is beyond me and why anyone would care right now is even more beyond me.
I'd like to pose this question: Who will score the first 2 point conversion for the Skins in 2026? Yup! Not any more pointless than any of the other similarly retarded threads we have infecting our board right now. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
Who will score the first 2 point conversion for the Skins in 2026?
Simple. It's Mark Brunell. :biggthump |

YES! My brother and I do that all the time and no one has any clue what the hell we're doing. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
Alright, I've got one...
When asked how much change someone has, they respond by saying "I've got .35 cent." If you have more than a penny, it's cents -- you know, the plural form. If someone asks you how many children you have, you wouldn't say "I've got three kid." So why the confusion with coinage? Nothing irritates me more. |

Re: What's your pet peeve?
the worst is driving behind a buick. i swear buicks cannot go over 25mph. or its just the blue hair behind the wheel. even worse is a buick with a handicapped symbol on the license plate thats a double whammy. this is true, next time your out driving lookout for buicks they suck.
