LOL. I think every guy has one time or another either by accident or buy prank has had that happened to them. Maybe it could be thread worthy IDK. All I know is it happened by to me twice both by pranks (jockstrap). It's always funnier when it ain't you.

I was wrong when I thought Devin Thomas would be a best a WR.
I was wrong when I thought Jim Zorn would be a good HC.
I was wrong when I thought Mike Vick was washed up last season, and he looked slower.
I was wrong when I thought Larry Johnson could help the Redskins this season.

Re: I Was Wrong When...

I truly thought we had 10 win talent coming into this season. I expected a major breakout season for Devin Thomas. I expected McIntosh to thrive at ILB in the 3-4. I expected Kareem Moore to be a solid starter and borderline playmaker at FS. I expected Fred Davis to be utilized as a force in 2 TE sets. I expected McNabb to come in and perform at his usual levels of effectiveness and being stingy with turnovers. I expected Jamal Brown and Trent Williams to solidify the OL to where it was at least average. To sum it up, I was wrong about a lot when it came to this season.

Now, I expect it will take at least 2 full offseasons to get us back to full respectability to where we can contend with the top 3-6 teams in the NFC.

I was wrong when I thought Rex Grossman wouldn't see the field again in 2010.

I was also wrong when I thought McNabb would be our starter for the next couple seasons.

I was wrong on pretty much everything you listed above as well. I don't think we necessarily had 10 win talent, but I definitely thought we'd be at least 8-8. I really thought our 4-3 linebackers and linemen would have an easy transition to the 3-4. Not the case at all lol.

I was wrong about RG3 :-(

These are pretty funny to scroll through so I thought it was worth the bump. Also, I know some on here may need the therapy.

I was too. I thought he had the talent to adjust but his ego and stubbornness among other things got in the way.

I was wrong this morning when my initial thought of hearing about a trash truck which had caught fire on 95 south; that the Redskins were moving to Richmond ala colts to Indy style.

I was wrong about RGIII.

I was wrong about the pistol and R/O becoming a regular part of NFL offenses.

I was wrong that injury concerns arising from using RGIII as a runner as well as passer would not affect him long term.

[The sum total of what has gone wrong in the RGIII experience - RGIII's inability to protect himself/reckless style, coaches who tried to fit a square peg into a round hole, the owner's interference in the way he was managed, etc. has just been disheartening. Plenty of blame to go around on this one. It was not just RGIII and, quite frankly, I'm not even sure it was mostly RGIII.]

I was so very, very, very wrong to hope the franchise had turned the corner.

I was very wrong when I thought B. Allen was an improvement over Vinny - BA is just a different, less sleazy, kind of incompetent.

This, I was thinking Bruce would have been a big game changer. Just another Danny extension now...

I was also a Vinny supporter way back in the day.

Re: I Was Wrong When...

I was wrong when I said about RGIII, "This kid is too good to be true." (Oh wait, I was right.)

Ok, I was actually wrong when I said that London Fletcher was a true Redskin and that he should come coach when his playing days were over. He's disappointed me, first by playing longer than he should have, and now by either trashing the team or stirring up shit. Like his article yesterday saying that he thought RGIII was blindsided by the decision to start Cousins and that the Redskins mishandled his development. Even if true, exactly who are you helping with that statement? Not RGIII, and certainly not your former teammates.

Loved him on the field until the end, but I have not liked him off the field. He's the anti-Bruce Allen -- "losing off the field."

Hate to say this but I think you should stop buying jerseys lol. Or buy them after the player has already been disgraced and/or left town.
