Re: Jason Taylor to re-sign with the Dolphins
I liked the move when we made it. And if Taylor hadn't gotten hurt, I would probably still like the trade. But he did get hurt, and while that isn't the fault of FO, we still ultimately got robbed as far as what we gave up for what we got.
I'm not crapping on our FO for this one. I'm just shaking my head while congratulating Parcells for working us over.
I liked the trade when it happened and still do. But, for VC to cut him b/c he didn't want to attend offseason workouts is crazy. VC knew this when we gave up draft picks. So, one year later he's going to basically demand JT attend a % of offseason workouts? If not, he's cut. Not a shrewd business move by VC. I wanted two years out of JT and the FO cut him. We constantly rag on $ hungry athletes but when someone doesn't take the $ we have a problem w/ it? I applaud JT for taking a lesser contract where he is happy. Happiness means alot. |
I'll take responsibility for probably instigating it.
Let's get back to Taylor
Well to be honest, I don't think there's anything else to talk about Jason Taylor. |
Was Fletcher a good move or not? That's all it boils down to. If he didn't work out I doubt you would be so ho-hum about it.
No question it was a good move. I'm not beyond giving credit when credit is due. |

More proof that the Redskins is where Hall of Famers come to die.
