So NFL Network loses Schefter and adds JLC and Irvin? Fail.

Agreed about Mr. Gruden. He adds much more to the broadcast than Kornheiser. He and Jaws seem to be playing well off each other. It's a nice mix of perspectives they put together- very good coach, former very good (and smart) player, and an excellent play by play guy in Tirico.

I wanted to hear Jaws say "play on playa" or Gruden say "ridonkulous" when AP ripped that 75 yard run.

I think MNF has the right mix this group. Chucky will only get better and more comfy with the role. So far he seems to have the right balance.

I watch NFL Network everyday and I've only seen him doing some appearances here and there. Is he there full time now during the season? I have to admit he is AWESOME on TV. The Countdown show is good but it's not the same w/ out Irvin.

For me its the opposite, I cant stand someone that needs to yell to get their point across. ALTHOUGH, I would watch him and Sean Salisbury debate football, since they both like to scream, that might be pretty entertaining.

Ugh Irvin is horrible. Not as bad as Emmitt who can barely speak, but Irvin isn't far behind.

Really? I like Irvin. He's a little over the top with the suits and all, but once you get pass that and the fact that he played for Dallas, he's not that bad.

Emmitt on the other hand is horrible. I'd like to Jon Jansen on the set once he's done losing in Detroit.

If you had said Emmitt Smith and Moose I would be on board. I definitely do not see your Aikman point. I also like Joe Buck. I think most people would probably say they were the best team going in NFL play-by-play; and I mean most people on this site.

Well since this thread is way off now, does anyone else who has Sirius think they have gone off the deepend for the Cowboys? It seems like everytime I turn on the NFL channel, someone is touting the Cowboys. And I have developed a deep dislike for Gil Brandt.

I haven't had Sirius for a few years now, but what is new? That sounds about the same as when I used to subscribe. Plus Adam Schein is completely unbearable. That's someone I'd like to punch in the face just for the hell of it.

I've hated the 3 man booth but Gruden has been REALLY good. I'm glad they've got two football guys in there now w/ Mike T.

lol. Buck is 100% tool city. He's pretty good but there is something about him that I just don't like. But I don't know what it is...it's just something. When he killed Randy Moss when he faked mooned the GB crowd he sounded like a crybaby. lol. I think that's where I started disliking him. lol.

I always think of that Moss call when I think of Joe Buck and he completely blew it out of proportion when he said it was a disgusting act...if I was a blind guy watching I'd have thought Moss taken a crap on the field and done some two girls, one cup action.

Gruden is great in the booth and he should only get better. His insight is great and he's such a character. He's a natural for TV.
