Played last night basically no problems. I think when it is a "busy" time things tend to slow down.

I cant wait to get off work early and play some COD.

I also am a more tactical player, but I almost exclusively play Hardcore TDM. Sometimes I play regular TDM if I am feeling lazy.

Hardcore is ALOT harder lol.But not default radar, you can only earn it (UAV). A lot easier to die, you wont just sit and take like 2 rounds.

Also you can team kill.

Ok I still struggle with determining who is a teammate and who is a enemy. On halo it is blue vs. red.

That sucks man. If you play hardcore, the enemies wont have any tag over their heads, so it helps.

I actually have gone back to MW1. MW2 is just way to complicated. It's funny to because with MW2 I had like a .54 KD ratio and then on my second game on MW1 I had 26 kills and 8 deaths.

At first I found the online play to be a little overwhelming, but once you settle in the only big difference is the customizable kill streaks, and of course there's a lot more of them.

My k/d ratio on MW was around 1.4, I'm at 1.75 on MW2 right now, shooting for 2.0 I hope!

I swear after playing harcore for about 3 nights straight I HATE the regular gameplay now. I mean I have to shoot a guy like 10 times before he falls. BULLSHIT ! If I had never played F'n HC Team Deathmatches I wouldn't feel this way. The FAL is a MONSTER on HC but regular, BOOO !!!!!!!

Well don't get too excited. You can only play third-person in like three settings, the rest is all first person still.

Team Deathmatch and things that most people play you cannot play in third-person, thought I'd point that out in case you plan on buying the game.

Waht happen to the map Rust, I never see it anymore. It was a great kill map. Now I seem to be in quarry, skid row and the afgan one all the time.

How many maps are there exactly? It does seem like the same ones pop up over and over. I keep getting terminal and wasteland a lot lately.

Anyone run in to people using the javelin glitch? So f'ing annoying, I hope they get that patched soon.

What is that?

I play free for all only or for the most part and in that mode I would say 6 or seven maps. I do love terminal.

The javelin glitch is an exploit used by players to cause them to explode upon death, killing anyone withing 30 feet of them once they die. In response to this glitch, Infinity Ward issued a statement that they would repair this glitch, later issuing temporary bans over Xbox Live for anyone who has been using this exploit. Ars Technica editor Ben Kuchera criticized the bannings, stating that Microsoft should not be banning people from the service for taking advantage of something found in the game's code and that it's not the same as cheating. I played a game the other day when this guy kept using that glitch. Pissed me off something serious. The problem is that the guy just ran around the whole time and you see him and you shoot, then you blow up.

Played to quick games at lunch on my break. It is hard to win i nthe middle of the day on a weekday. All that is on there are the hard core Mt. Dew gulping Dorritto stuffing high school drop outs.

Whats annoying is when someone kills you by throwing a knife and it hits you in the leg. And somehow it takes about 17 bullets to drop somebody. WTF is that?

How about the distance that a shotgun can shoot? I didnt know shotguns were good for long distance.

Which shotgun are you using? I have the AA-12 as my secondary weapon and the range isn't that great at all.

yeah, you probably get the least range on the AA-12, whatever the shotgun is with the big drum magazine, that one seems to have a decent (25-40 yds) range. Some of the others are just sad.

How about I ran into ANOTHER guy using the javelin glitch last night. This bastard had 19 kills and I ended up with 17. I was pissed because he got me with the glitch 3 times.

It's when your shooting at someone as you drop to the ground. Basically it makes it harder for your foe to shoot you because you are dropping to crawl.

I think i mentioned that before on this thread. But yeah it works.

Works better on regular not hardcore, as its not one hit kill.
