Every fan group since week four has called the game trap game. Believe me, this is the most important game of the season. Each game has been and each will continue to be. This team is committed to winning one for the city and the fans on New Orleans. Each and every week they are getting more focused and more deliberate. The Vikes are only one game back for home-field advantage. You are going to see and all out concentrated game this week. I guarantee it.
i honestly can't wait i've been waiting for this one all season imo brees is one of those guys you just have to see in person when you have the chance to, he is the best qb in the nfl right now |
HE DIDN'T GET HURT ! THE DUDE LIED ! I'm so serious, he is the only guy who blacks out with no problems later. I heard this morning that the bastard said that his right arm went numb too. SERIOUSLY ? Right arm went numb, blacked out on the field, BUT, BUT YOU ARE A LOCK TO PLAY ? You cannot be serious. DeSean Jackson Blacked out, and you could tell when you saw him on tv. Jason looked like he does everyother time he throws an incompletion. If he completes that pass to Moss I BET he would've gotten his bum ass up right away.
For all you Campbell backers don't you think that with all the conserns about concussions now that there would be a little concern ? THERE IS NONE ! You know why, because he's not hurt. He's like fucking Sylar on Heroes, he heals himself. He's a damn X-Man.
Another great football mind :hater::blah: |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
I predict that Drew Brees gets knocked out of the game and Brunell has to come in try to guide the Saints to a victory. I got a feeling that its his time to get hurt and the Saints will have to depend on a back up.
Another great football mind :hater::blah:
I appreciate the great football mind compliment, I work hard at my craft. Am I really a hater ? The good people at urbandictionary.com defines a hater as A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person. Don't think I really apply there because I wasn't hating on any apparent success I just want good play at the QB position. I would be more than happy to debate my stance on Jason Campbell with you so either in Private Message or email or on X-Box Live while playing Call of Duty I can explain to you why I feel this way. Believe me this isn't just point the finger at JC rhetoric, I have reasons. I like to believe that they are fairly valid. |

Damn, you're right! I guess I'll have to iron my clothes or clean my house. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
i predict drew brees will not finish this game.
go skins!! |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Why because Brunell will be in called in to kneel with the ball in the 3rd quarter?
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
^no because they want to get chase some reps
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
^ I dont understand the love affair for a guy who couldnt make the team.
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
he made a better team whats that say about our talent evaluators?
and for the record i'd rather see what colt has than chase |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
skins win. not much on predictions. just have a good feeling about it
|
he made a better team whats that say about our talent evaluators?
and for the record i'd rather see what colt has than chase
Its not like he is 2nd string so its really not relevant to our talent evaluators imo.Yeah if he went and took over the starting QB pos and went on to have a great career then it would be considered a huge miss, but for a guy to leave the team and make another teams practice squad i dont really see the miss. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
i thougth he was on their 53 man roster
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
^ i heard he was signed to their practice squad when we cut him.. maybe he was but thats the last i heard.
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
pretty sure i saw him dressed on mnf, doesn't matter though they will win cause brees is their starter
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
If Brunell comes into the game , maybe he has a flash back and throws the ball to the Burgandy and Gold :)
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?

Didn't he get cut though. So Chase being on their team is a moot point. So wouldn't that make their talent evaluators as smart as ours to pass on such a great talent ? |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
i checked it out he was breifly on the active roster released once resinged now on the practice squad to make room for chris mcalister
anyone hear anythig new on hall? everything i have heard says he is doubtful, i know someone said he wouldn't start but would play just wondering if thats still the "official" word |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?

He's not going to play.. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
It's Saturday 4:45 PM and we're in the midst of a snow storm that has continued all day. This is typically the kind of weather the Saints have problems playing in. The gods are preparing for the biggest upset victory of the season and I'll be there to witness it. Skins win!!
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
^it's supposed to be sunny and in the 40's at game time tomorrow

i think the thing that is gonna help them the most is hall being banged up

It's a typical Skins syke out, get our hopes up but at game time we are back to status quo. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
An employee and I are going to TP and dump garbage across a co-worker's yard if the Redskins win since he's a particularly obnoxious Saints fan.
I hope my ripe trash bag doesn't go to waste. Redskins win, the offense is disappointing but scores just enough to win, and I eat crow over my comments about the defense not being able to stop anyone in crunch time. |

Re: Saints predictions anyone?
When it comes right down to it, any team on any given sunday has the chance for that upset.
But, being realistic, we probably aren't going to win. It's probably going to be ugly. But hopefully an ugly loss will drive it home to Snyder finally that it's because of his decision making process that we can't win (Coach, Vinny Cerrato, etc) Hopefully he realizes that we aren't just a big player or 2 away from being a good team, and he lets this organization blow up in the offseason and completley rebuild. High paid underperforming guys, *cough* Portis, need to be sent packing in the offseason... |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Skins all day. 27-24 in OVERTIME.
and gregg williams will cry.....Twice |

Changing my prediction to Skins 40, Saints 10...someone's gotta do it

I have heard the same from five different teams already. Almost word for word. |

He has been on and off our practice squad. When we need to add a player for the week he gets cut. Then we re-sign him the next week. |

Since 2005 Drew Brees is 0-5 in games that were 45 degrees or less at kick-off. Suppose to be in the low 40's tomorrow isn't it? :) |

Don't forget. The Saints are a run first offense so this type of weather would play into their hands. (5th in the NFL in rushing and 1st in the NFL in rushing TD's) Their underneath passing game is also well fitted to these conditions. Then take into consideration that the down field passing schemes play to the receiver's advantage in poor field conditions. Brees would have open targets all day. |

That ranks right up there with some of the other hopeful obscure statistics that I have heard so far this year. "Tom Brady has beaten six NFC teams in a row ..." "Jake Delhomme is 7-0 in the Superdome in his career ..." There were others that I have forgotten since they have no relevance to the here and now. |

So all your talk about him and your team's accomplishments thus far is just a waste of time. |
