wtf.. a month for PC repair?
I've had to wait around 2 or 3 weeks to get my PC back. There was the course of a month where Geeksquad "fixed" my PC, only to have it not work. Then I had it sent out again and they claimed they fixed it only to have it not work a second time. When I brought it back home the OS I installed vanished. So I had to bring it back a third time, don't remember what fixed the problem but needless to say they were eager to fix it that point.

My suggestion is to buy directly from someone like Dell or anyone that's willing to come out to you when you need repairs and spend the extra three or four-hundred on a protection plan. It could easily cost that much to repair a computer in one go around and I've personally averaged at least two repairs per computer I've owned. The great thing about when I bought directly from Dell is that twice they sent a contractor out to me the very next day at no extra charge to fix my motherboard.

i read the espn article on it. blount was mad b/c the play before this one his helmet was also ripped off and he felt the defense was doing it on purpose.

guess what ya big dummy? yeah your defense did that on purpose to teach you a freakin lesson rookie. if a players helmet comes off, the play is whistled dead so if you dont learn how to strap on your hat now, your running plays are just going to get whistled dead in the regular season when oppossing players purposely try and rip your head and helmet off.

then get mad at them and throw a punch in a game. see how much sympathy goddell has for you. see your lineman have to come catch your back and you and some of your lineman just got suspended for a game or two and lose out on game day checks b/c you wanted to keep it real.

see how friendly your lineman are going to be when your immature petulent ass costs them serious coin.

Or you could just build one from scratch and choose your own non-shitty motherboard. Not only that, you'd probably be able to overclock a homemade comp while you're stuck with what you get with Dells and the like.

Does the fact that the Bills put up 21 points on the Colts first team D mean that our D is that much better or that the Colts first team D sucks that bad??

Manning threw a pick 6, so it is only 14 points. That said, I think it's more because C.J Spiller is a beast.

Colts are #1 in ESPN polls. That HAS to mean if we destroyed the Bills and the Bills are beating the #1 team, we are by definition, the new #1 team in the NFL. Super Bowl. Ship it.

When do polls mean anything in the NFL? And ESPN? All that means is a bunch of Colt fans and/or sports writers are flooding ESPN to vote. THe teams to beat in most of the preseason rags are the Pats, Ravens, Vikings, Saints, Packers, Colts. Colts are getting old. The Ravens will beat them in the playoffs for sure. I haven't seen one of the rags picking the Colts in the S, mostly the Ravens.

What? Mechanix, come on dude. I like the Colts as a team, but I think the AFC rep is going to be Balt or NE( maybe the Jets). Both are hungry and the Colts are aging. Throw in Cincy and Tenn in the mix and you will get a fun AFC race this season, but I don't think the Colts are SB bound. Of course I can be wrong, but the Colts have already hit the zenith of their power.

Colts Oline look mediocre at best. Sure, Peyton can make up for some of the deficiencies, but when the GM is concerned about it, the fans should be too.

I don't see Indy returning the the SB. In fact I think New England is the favorite in the AFC. Baltimore has way to many injuries and a old defense. I'm not buying the Jets yet simply because I don't trust Sanchez.

I think it's going to revert back to the way things were a few years ago, and it will be Colts/Pats. Brady's knee injury is a full two years behind him now, and they've gotten younger in some areas including key spots on D. If I had to pick my 6 AFC playoff teams right now, I'd say Chargers, Pats, Colts, and Bengals, with the wildcards to be claimed by two of these three teams: Ravens, Jets, Texans.

Tennesee isn't bowlbound, just might be a monkeywrench to someone's season though. The thing is they are not on anybody's radar screen, which is good for them.

He(VY) showed promise last year so I think they will be a good team. They aren't going to the SB, but might sneak in for a wildcard, which knocks one of the preseason favs out. All the preseason hype about the Jets isn't going to help them out, now that the Pats have regrouped and the Ravens have retooled their offense. Sanchez is going to be a solid QB, but last season he was more of a game manager than a real genuine QB. If he continues to develop the Jets will be indeed a force to be reckoned with, but I think the hype is going to mess them up. Ryan put a target on him and his team.

Re: 2010 NFL Preseason

Serious question, do you guys really put any faith in preseason games as far as the whole team goes? Sorry but I don't, which is not to say that preseason games aren't instructive, but more so in indivual battles and camp time should count too imho.

Case in point, if one only goes by 1 preseason game then the Redskins win the SB by default and Rex Grossman is MVP. Now I think Shannhan has the Redskins headed in the right direction and imho there is a SB in your future I think a year one appearance is asking alittle to much. I can't see any moves that weren't a positive for you and injuries have been held to a minimun and luck always plays a part so with that a 10/11 game win season would be great, don't you think?

As for my AFC East:
Most media outlets have had a love crush on the Pats since they started winning and thru the 2006 season I think they were right in their assessment. Since then they've lost their core group both on offense and defense. What you've seen with Fred Taylor in preseason will disappear once the real bullets are flying and could very well be on IR by mid season yet they still have Brady and its his arm they will ride off into the sunset.

My personal feeling about the rest of the AFC East is that it will be a dog fight between all four teams with the Bills ending up as the bottom feeder but only because of their lack of a good QB and the injury bug. While I hate the J-E-T-S with a passion Rex will have his team playing hard yet Sanchez is going to be the key and I feel he will have another up and down year. I also think he will implode at home in Nov./Dec. when the winds blow and the cold weather hits. As for my Dolphins I feel Mike Nolan was our best pickup of the off season and for a team ranked 20th in defense in 09 we surely needed a Mike Nolan type change. I wish I could say glowing things about Chad Henne with conviction but he still needs to show it on the field and imho he hasn't so far, he is still lacking in feeling the pressure and reacting quickly enough and although B. Marshall was a great pickup and should make the whole offense better. If one only goes by the first preseason game then the Henne -Marshall connection is a sham, btw I'm not one to use weather, mud, or wet balls as an excuse. If one pays a Marshall type player top #1 money then he better catch the dang ball!

So there you have my honest opinion on the AFC East and my prediction as to the winner, it will be desided during the last two or three games of the season, quite possibly the very last game, we shall see.

NFL showed they scored 21 pt's in the 1st qtr though...Hmmm...trent edwards for a TD pass to Lee evans and Spillar for a TD...

2 things struck me by this info...
I'm not insane for predicting us to go 14-2 (at the moment)
My bet with an eagles fan that we will drop 40 on dallas opening night is a bet...I may actually win..lol

It makes sense. He is playing well and he is the best answer for that team right now. By securing him for another year they have given themselves options.

They could sign him to a long term contract if Tebow isn't ready. At the same time this gives Tebow another year to get ready.

Let's face it at this point in time Brady Quinn is obviously a bad fit and a wasted trade. He needs to go to a WCO. Although this offense is similar to what he ran at ND he just does not have the arm for it at this level.

Personally, I don't think Sanchez will be their biggest problem this season. This team didn't get much better, IMO. They definitely pulled a 2000 Skins type of offseason. I don't like losing Thomas Jones for LT, I don't like the Taylor signing, I don't like the Santonio trade very much and I hate the Cromartie trade. I did, however, like their draft.

I, personally, believe this team took a step backwards in the offseason and it becomes a monster step backward if they don't get Revis in.

Given that they have used our tried-and-not-true method of grabbing superstars in order to buy a championship, if they go anywhere this year I will be pissed. If it doesn't work for us then it shouldn't work for them.

Since we are on all of this predicting talk about the AFC this year, I want to make an observation.

Is it just me or does it seem that the AFC dominated 00's is coming to an end? My prediciton is that the NFC is now the stronger conference top to bottom with the NFC producing more than half of the Superbowl winners in this coming decade.
