So you're suggesting starting Pierre Thomas and Moreno at RB
my current wideouts are: Santana Moss and Eddie Royal (starting for the first time this week) Braylon Edwards on the bench.
Hmmm, do you guys have short rosters? Who else do are your receivers? Is your league a 10 or 12 team league? I doubt it, but see if Demaryius Thomas is still available... if not, look at a sleeper like Louis Murphy to fill out your flex. He's better in a pinch against that AZ secondary... moreso than Lynch or Slaton. |
Yeah, that the scary thing still pending. Its a friends league so I dont think it will be. But the kicker is he approached me with it...I wasnt seeking it, so what can I do...we went back and forth on a couple things, he chose this over Mike Wallace my original offer.:food-smil:FIREdevil:pimp:
Dude, he must have some guilt complex... you sure he didn't sleep with your gf? |

I'd keep Lynch just to see if he gets traded to GB- in which case, you're roses. And that would definitely help out Spiller (who you're going to want to hold on to because a talent like that will eventually show up this season). Also keep Keiland Williams on your watch list. Portis will eventually get hurt this season, just off the sheer way he plays. Keiland can catch passes out of the backfield and he'd be instant offense once he gets burn. |

Nice... now if Spiller explodes against the Pats, I'll slink away from this board for a week or two haha. |

Man I've been waiting for this guy to come on for two weeks now, I just benched him in favor of Pierre Thomas, Moreno, and Murph at Flex. |

Same here... I benched him for Keiland this week. Shows you how little faith I have in Buffalo's run game right now. |
Re: Fantasy Tips
sit ryan matthews this week..try to pick up tolbert.

Re: Fantasy Tips
I'm sticking Rivers anyway, they're playing the Seahawks.
Whaddya think about my running backs this week: RB - Marshawn Lynch or Steve Slaton (both recently aquired) Flex- Knowshon Moreno Bench: CJ Spiller
Hey 12th, Moreno's out for the week... see if you can pick up one the backups- either Buckhalter or Maroney (I'd take Maroney if he's there- Buck's not going to be able to handle the load). Not sure what the split will be this sunday, though- proceed with caution. But Indy's defense has been susceptible to the run, so far. Having said that, the Broncos are a passing team and may have to be playing catchup this weekend. |
Re: Fantasy Tips
pick up buckhalter immediately if you can, moreno out 2 weeks. buckhalter is a great 3RB start this week, or if you work in a flex he's worth a shot.
|
Re: Fantasy Tips
What Moreno out? Seriously?
|
Re: Fantasy Tips
Okay Buckhalter and Rashad Jennings (JAX) is available. Jennings has more fantasy points this year. Which one...
|
Re: Fantasy Tips
Thanks, grabbed Buckhalter. He was still avialable. I dropped Slaton. Hope he doesn't break out.

buckhalter over jennings in a cocaine heartbeat my friend.

Marshall for Nannee trade went through...Revis is out this week as well, so Marshall def gets the start. And someone please pass the coke |

Good grief... looks like Spiller decides to show up when we both bench him! Ugh, fantasy football... nothing like it. |
Re: Fantasy Tips
That eagles WR D. Jackson draft pick is starting to pay dividends....straight cash homie

Yep, today he was a little better. D Gerrard was horrible...like 6 total completions for the Jags. That team is worst than I thought |
Re: Fantasy Tips
Brandon Marhall, nice debut on my paid team
|
Re: Fantasy Tips
I've got a problem. A good one.
I've got Wayne, Austin, and DeSean Jackson. Only thing is, Austin Collie is riding on my bench. Who should be benched? |
Re: Fantasy Tips
if you can start only two, you should bench austin. I mean are you saying you'd rather have austin collie oer wayne or fraction jackson? I don't think so.

Good thing is Austin's on a bye this week, so if you start three- there's your answer. |
Re: Fantasy Tips
who is better play Alex Smith @ Atlanta or Flacco @Pittsburg or Vince Young vs Denver...looking at the waiver wire since Homo has a bye...need input...thanks

It's Yahoo Standard. Reggie Wayne, Miles Austin, and Jackson are my starters at the moment. Collie is begging for one of the slots. I know next week, Miles Austin has a bye, but for the rest of the season... |

Knowing Pittsburgh and the history of games between the two, they tend to be defensive wars. Smith and Young are hit or miss. It's between those two though. |

I'd stay away from Alex Smith- he looked terrible against KC and they've just canned their O-coordinator. Plus Atlanta's d is tough at home. Flacco's not going to get much through the air against the Steelers, so you almost have to go with Young against the Broncos... I actually have to start him this week with Romo on a bye. Let's just hope he doesn't get yanked for Kerry Collins this week. |
Re: Fantasy Tips
Start Flacco. While the Pittsburgh D is always stingy, Alex Smith isn't going to get any better this year, Young will get eaten alive by Denver's D, and most likely other alternatives are Garrard, Gradkowski, Fitzpatrick, and whomever Oakland starts. Plus with Mason, Housh, Boldin, Rice, and Heap, someone's going to be open.

that's rough, i'm in the EXACT same boat and I went with v Young |

See if Sanchez or Gradkowski's available on your wire... both have decent matchups this weekend. |
Re: Fantasy Tips
Thanks for the input, still deciding...Im leaning towards V Young slightly over Flacco. But Gradkowski is a good suggestion...Im gonna check to see if he is availible. Sanchez is already taken.

In my league, you know who my back up was? F*ing Kolb....I thought originally for a backup I had gotten a steal like in the 10 round. |
Re: Fantasy Tips
so my 3 QB's are Romo, Vick (who I grabbed VIA free agent as trade bait) and McNabb. So who do I start this week? I my head says Vick my heart says McNabb.

Did you see the Skins game last week? Vick...but I bet McNabb will play better than he did last week. |

I'd have to go with Young. Flacco is not having the year he was hyped up to have, plus the Steelers D will not give him a lot. Smith and SF = turmoil, plus they'll rely on Gore a lot. Young by process of elimination. Denver D is bad and somehow Chris Johnson is underacheiving so far this year. He's already blown his 2,500 target unless he strings together a ton of 300 yard games. |

I say wait till Trent's status is updated, then you may get a better idea. :D |
