Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Nicks is looking really good.. commanding space even though pressed on every play, really creates a bubble around himself and puts himself in position to make the catch

Crap I was hoping that Eli had regressed. |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Yeah, Matt Moore is now my new hero.
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Yeah.. tough call to make with their kicker being on point today, but ended up working out
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Steve Smith needs to take off.

I wouldn't say he's doing well.. 2 INTs.. should be more |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Johnson 76 yard TD run right before HALF

Oakland's run defense stinks.
I wouldn't say he's doing well.. 2 INTs.. should be more
Eli should have at least four picks. He's going to be up and down, I don't think he could beat an elite team. I see the Giants at a similar level as the Panthers, with prob a better defense than Carolina. SIDENOTE: The Patriots offense is going to be great this season, however I think in this game is more of the Bengals defense stinking it up (as far as the Bengals Offense vs. the Pats D). |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Not sure if someone else already posted this, Justin Tryon stating for Colts and having a good game. Playing really well in special teams, made some really good tackles in coverage. Did we get a conditional pick for him?
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Carolina is falling apart.

Their defense started to fall apart when they gave the Giants that TD at the end of the second quarter. |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Arian Foster is going nuts against the Colts. The Houston running game is going to make that offense look like the old Indy, especially when Schaub starts to see defenses moving up to the box.
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Yea panther sure do have a top 10 D .. I forgot who said that but cmon..
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
I'm glad I have Arian Foster on most of my Yahoo teams.
I'm not glad that he's sitting on the bench on all of the teams I have him on. |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Roddy White is going off on Pittsburgh. Unfortunately they haven't been able to turn those yards into TDs. Big defensive battle in Pittsburgh.
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Dallas and Houston. Man that's a tough 2 games to start with
|

Yeah, I think that Houston will be the tougher out of those two, they seem to be the most complete team out of the two. |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
watching the Red Zone channel. Man this sucker is good.
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Troy Polamalu just saved Dennis Dixon in Pittsburgh.
|
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
What a messy game.. wouldn't be surprised if Skins Cowboys ends up similarly to Giants-Panthers
|

Those two plays alone make me love Trent Williams so much more. |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Well that was pathetic... not much of a chance for success though so far back in your in own end down by 13, and with only 2:30 left.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
There was no other pick for us to make this year. TW all the way, anyhting else would have been a mistake, save Russel Okung.

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
Early observations.
No regrets about Jason Cambell. Okung might be out until week 2, maybe 3. Kold looks a little rusty/nervous or something, but he ain't sharp. Brandon Lloyd - fantasy sleeper? It's only week 1! |
Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)
I and David Akers have a FF love affair.
