Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
Terrell Suggs on the other hand played, and did well, coming off that torn Achilles. Which Fred Davis just tore today. If Suggs can come back in 6 months, I like Freds chances of playing in the preseason next year.
There will be coaching changes this offseason
I'm not sure there's a better show than NFL Network's A Football Life. Week in and week out it's incredible
Going back to this, exactly what have you heard about Kyle Shanahan leaving after the season? One of the insider's tweets mentions that it's going to be hard replacing 2 coaches in the off-season, and then answers "no" to a person asking him if he thought Kyle would stay. (since Kyle is free to do whatever he wants after the season) edit: not to cause confusion, I misinterpreted the tweet. He was replying "No" to another question asked about Mike leaving. So that was my bad on the Kyle talk...lol |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
Mark Sanchez is such a scrub. Thank god that village idiot Vinny never got to trade for him. We'd be in such hell right now.

it makes 0 sense for Kyle to leave, except for if his dad and/or snyder wants him to leave. Kyle and his offense is the best thing going for these team, compared to Defense and Special teams |

Sanchez threw over 300 yds and was not necessarily the only reason why the Jets lost. Late in the game Cromartie dropped a pick and even later in the game this wide open WR for the Jets (I don't know his name) dropped a pass that could have easily been a TD. Ugh, I can't believe the f*cking Jets blew a chance to beat the f*cking Pats. |

Read a pretty awesome article on Grantland recently which made an excellent case that Sanchez's best year as a pro was when he was a rookie. Apparently he has gotten markedly worse every year. |

He's decent but was he worth that pick? No way. Troy P out again for Pittsburgh, hopefully he's out again next week |
Big Ben will eat our defense alive too, even if we hit him it takes a lot to bring him down.

Eventually the skins will hold a qb under 300 yards right?? |

I think the Jets have made pretty bad personnel decisions since that year that is now affecting them. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
Man, I kinda don't want the Steelers to lose tonight. I don't think I want them to be desperate next week at Pittsburgh.

I'm with ya, I think we win that game either way. They look crazy slow on defense and look what we did to the last slow d we played? (MIN) we scored 30 plus |

Did I say Kyle? |
Did I say Kyle?
You didn't mention a name, nor did I mean to imply you did. I was throwing that out there since this was brought up with another insider. Any reason why Kyle wouldn't stay around? I think we can safely assume that one would be Haslett, but even then only if a better replacement could be found. I still really don't get the Haslett hire to begin with. He hadn't ran the 3-4 in 11 years, didn't want to run the scheme here, yet still hire him? I think that is a bigger mistake than the McNabb trade. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
I'm not convinced Haz is a lock to go. Though it wouldn't blow me away. Will it be two to go? Maybe. They won't both be fired though.
As for Kyle... |

Y would Kyle leave if we have such a promising qb now? I wouldn't

Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
If the "surprise" is Kyle taking over as HC while Mike steps into personnel full time I'm gonna become a big hockey fan for awhile...somehow.

I may have to retract as I may have misinterpreted his tweet. I thought he said "No" to a guy's question asking if he thought Kyle would return. He was replying to another guy asking about Mike leaving. Kind of odd how he's referring to Kyle though in that he'd free to do what he wants after the season, and almost gives off this vibe that something is amiss. I heard Kyle is taking over in Oakland, and he's bringing back Rex Grossman w/ him.

Just want to clear this up, nothing was said by him. I just misinterpreted the tweet wrong when people asked him about Kyle. That said, he did say something about possibly replacing 2 coaches in the off-season. ..and yes, I realize you are being sarcastic. |

Just what we need, to replace the OC that's leading the 3rd ranked offense. Just brilliant.
